We loved this place! It was super clean and comfortable. It was in walking distance of the venue we were visiting and in walking distance of the zoo. Check in was convenient and easy and checkout was super simple. If ever in Memphis again, we would definitely stay here again!

Home is comfortable, clean, spacious and feels "like home". When an extra day was added, owner was extremely kind and communication was bar none. Thank you kindly for a great place to stay! We appreciated it. Have an amazing day.

Nice property with good location in Midtown and close to several nice restaurants. Pretty good job with all the renovations and updates. Neighborhood seemed moderately safe.

Great Midtown Apartment

This is a beautiful, quiet, Midtown apartment with a great front porch. I loved sitting out front. I don’t think the floors had been cleaned prior to our arrival. Overall, this was very enjoyable and I would probably stay there again.

Property was graeat and close to everything we wanted to visit. As many reviews indicated, owner may want to hire new cleaning service, upon arrival we had a dirty fork in the sink, mirrors have not been been cleaned in a very long time. Other than that , place is true to it's description, my daughter and i enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely return

Very nice stay at Memphis, charming and very clean apartment.

The apartment is very clean and very welcoming. It has been restored with taste and care. Sleeping in the sofa in the living room is not convenient as there are no opaque curtains so light comes in soon in the morning! The contact and assistance were very efficient and we have appreciated to stay there in family to visit Memphis.

Great place to stay!

We loved the property! The old apartment provides for a very relaxing atmosphere, and matches the pictures shown online. It is conveniently located next to restaurants, a grocery store, and Overton Park, and a short drive to anywhere you want to visit in Memphis! It is located on a street where locals live, who were very friendly and welcoming when we walked from the apartment to the restaurants down the street. The property was clean with the exception of the floors, mainly around the baseboards and the bathroom floor. But that did not take away from our overall experience - we would definitely stay there again!

This property was located near everything we went to Mississippi Arkansas and we was close to everything in Memphis…Tim was oh my heaven amazing host our flight had gotton cancel he was understanding and he was accommodating…He is a godsend..The house was clean specious my kids enjoy there favorite movies we enjoy our meals in a fully stock kitchen ..bathroom has towels and linens..we had a off street parking which was convenient..it was a quiet neighborhood…we will definitely be staying again ..Thank you bunches Tim for everything

Nice place

Nice enough place in a neighborhood that seems both a bit worn down and a bit up and coming. Advertised as close to Beale St but not close enough to walk. The property is nice but all of the living room furniture have unmatched blankets over them. Not sure if they are protecting the sofa and chairs or maybe hiding something. They might very well wash those blankets between every stay but we were not sure.

The property was not as advertised. It was dirty and I contacted the host and voiced my concerns. Namely there was no stopper for the kitchen sink the iron didn't work.A caretaker came and cleaned a mirror and wiped walls with the worst spots. He brought a stopper that didn't fit and an iron .He said he would be back the next day. I received a message from the host saying the caretaker would by and clean. I left for hours went and bought a stopper so he could work. He never came The host messaged me to apologize and say the issues would be resolved after I left. I took pictures, sent them to him. Then I went to the laundry room, I took pictures sent them to the host and told him before I could use it I would have to clean it. Again I got an apology say this was not typical of their properties. I realized that I was not going to get anything done. So I took pictures to document what I saw as fact. Which I can send to you.

Lovely on the inside!

Dear fellow travelers, I picked this place because of its great pictures and historic charm. I truly was excited to stay here but unfortunately our stay here was pretty disappointing. My plane into Memphis arrived late so when I arrived at the house in the wee hours of the morning the first thing I noticed was two full trash cans sitting on the walk way. I hate to say it, but those trash cans were still sitting there when we departed five days later. Not sure why the trash wasn't picked up but most of the trash cans on this street stayed full and on the curb. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and as a woman I certainly wouldn't be walking home alone late at night (saw several people sleep on the street and on the church steps around the corner during all hours of the day). Also, the apartment complexes along this street look like Section 8 housing. A few other things I would like to point out...the house is NOT as clean as one would expect...hadn't been swept under any of the beds in God only knows how long (I dropped one of my rings so I had to search under the bed - not a pleasant experience), stepped into broken glass in the living room (sent pictures to the management company but they didn't send the cleaning crew to take care of the issue. Yes, they apologized but I expected someone to come and take care of the issue). If you need to work, know that the internet connection is really slow and the upstairs tenants are baby elephants. You won't be able to sleep in! A few other items that could be improved...lighting inside the home is poor (add some additional lights throughout the living area, bedrooms, dining room); the porch light is super bright and left on all night - need curtains that block out the porch light since you can't turn it off! And yes, decent hangers and a bath mat would be appreciated. There is a dresser in one of the bedrooms but no closet, and a closet but no dresser in the other bedroom. Hopefully this review will be helpful to the management company to hire a better cleaning crew as well as make some improvements. Thank you!

Nice home! Great service and communication.

Everything was exceptional — clean, spacious (we love old houses) and turn-key. The neighborhood just to the west is not the cleanest — we stumbled on a dead cat on the sidewalk that had been moldering long enough that you’d think a neighbor would had shoveled it up! That said, the location is perfect for those (like us) who wanted to do Elvis, Beale and the Zoo. (The Zoo is amazing and in walking distance; otherwise you are driving places, which is no big deal since Memphis is easy to navigate and generally uncrowded inside the beltway.)

Wonderful Thanksgiving here

My wife and I hosted our son and his girlfriend here at this amazing property for Thanksgiving. We LOVED it. It was just the right size for the four of us. Two very comfortable sofas in the living area, in front of a big screen tv. When we weren’t cooking or eating, we sprawled on the sofas and read or watched the parade or napped. The management was so warm and helpful and agreeable. We had a small mishap and all they cared about was that we were okay. We want to do it again next year!
