「We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light. 」

「Hotel is in a perfect location on Calle 60. It is located less than 2 blocks from Parc Santa Lucia, & 5 block from Grande Plaza. Room immaculate, with a lovely patio overlooking the pool. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a Hotel. Fresh cooked to order, with warm fresh from the oven croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt. All staff members were EXCEPTIONAL. 「This hotel is in an ideal location, walking distance to everything in Merida. The staff are very helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. The common areas are lovely, and how you would imagine an hacienda 100 years ago. Our room was very basic - wifi was slow and the phone would not fully charge overnight (with a message of slow charging.)」
