I recently stayed at Real Inn Mexicali and had a mixed experience. Some of the lobby reception staff came across as rude, which made the check-in process less pleasant than expected. The lobby was under construction, and while I understand that renovations can cause some inconvenience, the overall environment felt a bit disorganized. I arrived a day earlier than planned and booked an additional night directly with the hotel, including breakfast for that first day. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was very disappointing, as the food appeared to be contaminated, which made it inedible. The pool area was quiet, which was nice, but there were no towels available. When I asked, the receptionist mentioned they would bring some, but they never did. On a positive note, the cleaning staff were great—very friendly and did an excellent job maintaining the rooms. Overall, while there were some good aspects, the issues with service and food made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Breakfast menu was quite tasteless, air conditioning didn’t work properly, and only one elevator worked for a few hours and later the other one stopped working so we had to use the stairs. I highly recommend not to stay there.

creo que deben clarificar que estan en remodelacion, los costos que traen por estancia son bajos pero asumo que es por las condiciones del hotel, en el check in no servia el elevador, tuvimos que subir 4 pisos con todo y maletas, se usaron las escaleras de emergencia que tambien estan en proceso de remodelacion, lobby es inexistente, mucho polvo en todo el hotel. La habitacion muy rescatable, comoda, buena cama, aire acondicionado, incompletos los muebles si los comparas con las fotos que anuncian, no habia ganchos para colgar la ropa y sin plancha.

Nice hotel convenient located in the center of town. It’s easy to get mostly anywhere from here. The hotel was undergoing a renovation so it was a bit dusty. It has a nice pool to refresh in during the hot Mexicali weather.

You can hear everything from the adjacent rooms, lots of work going on in the hotel and they start very early with loud tools and yelling between workers. Front desk staff is very rude.

We recenlty stayed at this hotel last week arriving thurdsay night and checking out saturday , as we were in the area for a medical appointment, We had stayed here before twice with no issues wich is why we chose to return , Unfortunately this experience was very dissapointing. The hotel is under remodelig,(undestandable) but not disclosed at time of booking , the overall condition felt messy and poorly managed. there was construction debirs in the parking lot and we could clearly hear noise from the remodeling work, which made it difficult to rest. At check in, the staff was not very helpful, basic information such as wheater breakfast was available during remodeling was not cleary communicated. The most concerning issue,however was cleanliness.Husban woke up the next morning covered in bites, which appeared to be from bed bugs. We had previously had a decent experience here, but this stay did not meet even basic standards, until the remodelings is completed and proper cleanilness and services are ensured ,we would not recomend stayinf here
