Hotel Riu Santa Fe - All Inclusive

"The vendors block the beach view by setting up their stands directly in front of the resort. We wanted to take pictures of the beautiful scenery, but the entire beachfront was obstructed by vendors who constantly approached us asking if we wanted to buy something. An occasional vendor walking by would have been understandable, but these vendors set up permanent stands and stay there all day, making it difficult to enjoy the view and take pictures."

"Great location! Staff service was excellent. My only criticism is that the cold water in the shower during the day was over 100 degrees and would never get cooler. It was just less than scalding hot and the same temperature as any hot water setting. At night, the temperature was slightly less, but still very hot. So we did not get much relief from the heat with a nice "cool" shower in the afternoon after getting back from fishing. Other than that, I have no complaints."

"Due to the location, you could not go into the ocean. You can see it and sit on the sand, but no going in. The resort, staff, and accommodations are 5 stars!"

"The staff were excellent. Food was very good. We never tried the room service because the menu looked unappealing. The Alacarts were all great. We loved the beach. Water was warm , clean and clear. No rough surf like other places I've stayed on the Pacific coast. Really easy to get around. Lots of taxis or the bus stop is in front of the resort. The only negative thing was the ridiculously expensive games room. The resort should really review the pricing structure as it's not realistic. We passed as I would rather give my money to the excellent friendly staff. Overall a good experience. We stayed 10 days."
