“I write a lot of reviews and I always try to be fair. The hotel could have been cleaner in some areas. Glitz with fingerprints and sticky, poorly maintained areas that are frequented by guests does not impress. The chairs and tables in the dining area still had food on them even after my wife and I watched the staff “sort of” wipe them down. We didn't need food on the seat of our clothes. That evening the coffee in the lobby had something unidentifiable floating in it and the cream was curdled.……

The lobby is just atrocious… due to the smell. The bedroom was very nice, but the bathrooms could use an update. ”

“I know now where to stay every time I go to Gainesville. If you are looking for warmth and charm, and want something that resonates the south with its pretty gardens, Spanish moss, and trickling fountains, then this is it. I love bed and breakfasts for this very reason— the homely feeling. You can’t get that anywhere else. So glad we booked here. Very quiet place, was so surprised to see how many people were actually in the house when we went down for breakfast. You’d NEVER know based on how……
