「This was such a nice and peaceful place to stay. Although I never once saw a member of staff, I didn’t need to. Everything was ready for us and well communicated. White fences were in desperate need of a paint job, leaves and debris everywhere and the breakfast was a walk to get to and basic continental. 「Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. 「It is an old, charming inn with winding stairs and hallways. The room was very nice sized, the bed comfortable, had good light, and a modernized attached bath. Do not compare it to a modern luxury hotel. The breakfast was great and the restaurant had great food for dinner. Location perfect-right across from the lake and easy walk into town.
