Fully automated hotel where front door and your room all open using buttons on your phone which was very novel and worked well. Impeccably clean, newly refurbished and high quality amenities etc
Room was very good
Food was excellent and staff very friendly
Nice decor
Great Bed
Nice big shower
Nice to have a bar/ restaurant that had a great vibe and felt more like somewhere you would go on night out to
Free parking
We completely enjoyed our stay so much so that my wife and I agreed that the next time we visit Amsterdam, we’ll stay here again, even though it’s 30 minutes or so outside the city. The staff was amazing, friendly and courteous. We will be back.

We loved the property. Excellent location in historic centre on the canal. Easy walking to museums. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Beautiful large renovated room on the ground floor as requested. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Nice little town, excellent bakery and supermarket opposite, bus stop to Amsterdam within 2 minutes walk, free parking outside the hotel. Digital key system works well for the main door and the room as long as you have an internet connection. Room was spacious, clean and well designed. Bed was very comfortable.
Beautiful room, lovely friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant. Lovely ambience. Only downside was that we were woken on first morning by workmen putting up scaffolding right outside the window, waking us at 7.15am. Work started on the roof on the morning we were leaving so we could not enjoy breakfast.
From the checking in process to checking out, this stay was great. The service from the lovely ladies was quick, friendly and professional. The lift for the suitcases was a bonus - stairs were spirally which would have made it hard. The room (we had the Comfort Double) was small but functional for our short stay.
Bed was cosy, the room was clean, bathroom a nice size. Free parking right outside was a bonus. Being an older building we found the doors a bit heavy to
open but that’s the only minor issue. Would happily stay again.
The room looked nice, but there was a lamp missing in the ceiling and the water in the sink didn't drain well. Cleaning could have been a little bit better. The room was supposed to be soundproof, but the music from the restaurant was very noticeable until midnight. Breakfast was nice, but you get served a meal, so you can't choose what you want and the amount may not work for everyone.

Good hotel, which could be great
Enjoy out stay at the Brasa hotel, however I would have given it a higher score if when we arrived the safe had been working, the shampoo dispenser was filled and there weren’t holes in the sheets.
I’d also say if you have any mobility issues then don’t book rooms 12 or 14
Unexpectedly nice boutique accommodation located in a historic monumental townhouse built in 1826 in the middle of the Dutch countryside, with a nice terrace where breakfast is served in the shade or centuries old elm trees. Rooms are totally refurbished and modernized. Modern stylish bathrooms with outstanding shower facilities.
The room is well-renovated and clean. Nearby environment is beautiful and quite. However, the transportation is too inconvenient. It requires almost an hour to go to the hotel from Amsterdam Central.
It had a very nice room and bathroom. The internet connection was extremely poor... cutting in and out when you could connect. There was no phone in the room so when we needed to contact an employee we had to go down to speak to them and the elevator wasn't working so it only made it worse. They came into the room after we left ... they took our 2 dirty coffee cups but didn't leave clean cups. They left the dirty spoon used for stirring our coffee. They didn't replace the coffee supplies so there was no coffee or creamer for the next morning and they never made the bed. Very poor!!
The smallest room was super tight, we figured it out but hardly had room for luggage. The bed and pillows were comfortable as was the shower. It was weird not having anyone to really ask about check in or help with the space. The restaurant staff helped but it was odd. The worst part was we stayed on a weekend and both nights they had private events so while we couldn’t hear the bar noise we could certainly hear the private event until 1:00am both nights. It was exhausting as it was incredibly loud. We were in room 7. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room in addition. As there wasn’t much around for eating (3-4 places) so it would have been nice to be able to keep food cold.
