Smith Family Christmas 2024

Everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay for the second Christmas in a row. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of activities for all members of our family. Wonderful place for family get-to-gather. Thanks for your hospitality and I am sure we will be back.

Corporate Retreat

We did a corporate retreat with 5 men. House was perfectly set up for this type of event or multiple families. Very Spacious and accommodating. Fully stocked to cook any type of meal. Boat Dock was well laid out to enjoy fishing and recreation. Highly recommended from top to bottom.

Vacation Dream house

Nice getaway

We had family from all over come together for four nights and this house was perfect. The home is very nice and new. Beds are comfortable and every room having its own bathroom is a huge plus. The dock is very nice also, we fished all day and into the night. The underwater lights are really cool as well as all the other lighting down the path and on the dock itself. The kids had a blast swimming off of the platform. We went to The Lake House for dinner one night and it was really good and worth checking out. The internet is fast enough to do whatever you need to do - we had to jump on a couple zooms while there. Very relaxing stay and would highly recommend this home.

Smith Family Christmas

The property was both a rewarding and fulfilling experience for our family. We had all our family there including a great great grandfather, great grandparents, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,and great great grandchildren. The house was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and very well furnished. The dock was a highlight and provided many hours of entertainment for the grands. The family also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit just sharing life experiences. The kitchen was well stocked and provided a wonderful place to prepare meals. This was the best Christmas getaway that we have had in years due to the fact that the whole family was together. The entire property was beautiful and very accommodating for our needs. Thanks for letting us rent your place and for your quick response to questions and insuring that our needs were met. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great family getaway. Thanks the Earl Smith family.

The best spot to stay on the lake

This house is the ideal property for a fellas trip. I was blown away with the exterior of the property upon arrival. The house is located in a secluded area with an automated privacy gate to make you feel safe and secure. The lawn is meticulously manicured along with a beautiful flowerbed in the front yard. There is also a covered area in the back for boat docking. You can even sit at the bar to lounge; taking in the breathtaking views of the lake. The exterior was well lit and we were also able to fish right from the dock. Upon entering the quarters was a massive living area and a spacious well stocked (with equipment) kitchen with updated amenities. It was clean and comfortable with a homey feel. There was a ping pong table and other games in the garage that allowed entertainment for our crew when we weren’t casting our reels. The outdoor kitchen was an extra bonus for the fellas to grill steaks and burgers. I could go on and an on about Cypress Cove but you would have to see it for yourself. The pictures on the site don’t do this home any justice. The host “Janice” is warm, friendly, accommodating and has a speedy quick response time. Without reservations, I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone planning a trip or FAMILY getaway! I definitely will return to this destination on our next annual trip to Toledo Bend.

Amazing private retreat

Cannot say enough about this wonderful home! The house fit 4 families comfortably. The kids enjoyed the bunk room, and the house was clean and pristine. The patio and the dock were wonderful hangouts. The lake access was wonderful with the floating dock and is situated on a secluded part of the lake so we felt like we truly had the area to ourselves. Thank you for letting us stay, we hope to be back!

Our stay at Cypress Cove Point was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The owners communicated throughout the process and were very quick to respond to questions. The property was exactly as the pictures. In fact pictures don’t do it justice! My family stayed busy and had fun the entire time. We fished off the pier, cooked in the outdoor kitchen played multiple games and enjoyed each others company. The kids ranged from 2-17 (11 of them total) and they were never bored. We will definitely stay again. I actually tried to book Thanksgiving but it was already booked!

Fathers Day family weekend

Very, very nice lakehouse on a beautiful point. Well equipped, perfect for a family get together. A little secluded and quite a long drive back there. Very professionally managed. Already booked for next year Rating - a 10!

The house was BEAUTIFUL and stocked with everything you could think of! We did a graduation celebration for my son and his friends and everyone enjoyed themselves. Looking forward to visiting again.
