We absolutely loved our stay at August Lodge. It was clean, the room was spacious, the staff was incredible, and the view alone was worth the price. We will stay here again!

Loved the location and room, very spacious. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Did not use amenities, other than the provided breakfast. No hot food, but plenty of cold options. Wonderful stay!

This was a getaway that was planned for seeing Cooperstown and all that the little town had to offer. The August Lodge is amazing and made this trip so much more than we could ever ask for. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home every day. The views were spectacular and we spent our evenings on our patio watching the eagles soar around the mountains. Thank you August staff for making our birthday, anniversary and Mother’s Day vacation a lifetime of great memories.

Wonderful hotel
The staff at this little lodge is so kind. We were one of only two families both nights, but we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, convenient to the HoF, delicious coffee.

Views are stunning, pool and hot tub stunning, relaxing and quiet location, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast adequate. However walls paper thin in and could hear neighbours conversations.. but staff moved our room without hesitation .. thank you for a nice stay

Safe. Clean. STUNNING. Loved staying in this hidden gem so close to Cooperstown! Heated pool and swing set were great for the kids and there's a fire pit for s'mores that overlooks the wildflower meadow. Total homerun.

The views from the lodge were amazing. A lot of good dining in the area. The only complaint is the water in the bathroom had a weird smell but a great experience and we would definitely go back.

Overall: It’s a beautiful property with a view for miles! Pros: The staff are lovely and very helpful. Each room has a great view over the hills. We had a cozy fire on the lobby and played board games.
Cons: it’s a rural property up so the shower water has a bit of a smell.
We came in October and I can’t can’t overstate how gorgeous the fall colours are from the property.
We had a great stay and would return for sure - but it’s already almost fully booked for next summer.
