Brackley Beach Northwinds Inn and Suites

8/10 Good

"Location is absolutely amazing. Staff was friendly. Room with 2 queen-sized beds was big and clean, with a large washroom. No kitchen, just a small fridge, microwave and coffee machine, placed one on each other, no kettle. Bedding was clean. Despite locating next to the road, it wasn't noisy inside the room. On the second night all our clothes and bed sheets got wet during the night (windows were closed), so that was unexpected. Towels were changed the next day. Plenty of parking on site. They mentioned to have a charging spot for electric cars, but actually it's just an outdoor socket without a cord. Luckily we found a free charging slots on a Brackley Beach parking (it wasn't on the Chargehub list) 3 min away from the hotel. Breakfast offered muffins and pre-made coffee and hot water / tea bags, nothing else. Hot tub didn't work during a summer long weekend, despite being announced at the desk. Pool didn't have any ladder / steps, also a surprise. Resuming all the above, I would say, I liked our staying there, despite a few things, that didn't match expectations."

"Breakfast was excellent. A full compliment of Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes...no skimping! The happiest gentleman was in charge of the operation. Breads, bagels, for toasting, oatmeal, yogurt, cereals etc. We did a fishing excursion and brought back some fish which we cooked on the provided bbqs. Bbq utensils provided. This motel was well taken care of. You can see that much pride is taken in their property. I would be happy to return in the future."

"We had an excellent stay. Very quiet, rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Needed peace, rest and we were very successful! The pool and hot tub were great relaxation!!! Good temperatures. Close to attractions we wanted to go to. But away from the mess of cars. The staff were so friendly - knew our names, asked every time we went out if all was okay. The young lady was so welcoming and funny. We truly enjoyed it all."

"First time visiting PEI and the hotel was easy to find and very accommodating! We arrived after midnight and had no issues checking in and getting our room! The location was ideal for everything we wanted to see and do! The breakfast was great with plenty of choices and extra seating to relax and enjoy before our busy day! Definitely recommend staying here when visiting the Island!!"
