A very clean, very basic room

Nothing fancy, dated decor, old building, but it was very clean, no carpets, hardwood laminate. Beds were comfortable. Incredibly inexpensive, especially for Summerfest! I will absolutely stay there again!

Most aspects were good. Room had no air conditioner. A floor-stand fan was provided. Room was a few degrees too warm for comfortable sleep. Bathroom seemed recently-renovated and was clean. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Short overnight stay

Convenient to the venue we were going to. Exterior of prior well maintained. Our room was easily accessible from parking. The room was clean. There was a refrigerator but no microwave in the room. Adequate for a short stay.

It was clean enough and in a good location. There was not enough light in the room, no hangers, and no extra pillows. I asked, but there were no more pillows or hangers available.

The toilet was clogged and overflowed. Had to use a plunger. I asked for a printed receipt and was told I could not get one from the front desk. It was quiet at night. But probably the first and last time I'll stay there.

Wouldn't stay again for free

Check-in was fine. The gal who checked me in was friendly. Got to my room, which seemed clean enough, and at that point I thought it was going to be a decent stay for the affordable price it cost. I was wrong. Traffic from the busy road was bad, but it wasn't the worst part. There were people coming and going all through the night. One of the first ones called someone a "(expletive that starts with an f) idiot", then they literally burned rubber out of the parking lot. It sounded as if someone was going back and forth near my door with a suitcase on wheels. This may have been the person that cars came to see before quickly leaving thereafter. I was too sketched out to watch what was going on, but I could hear it. The thermostat was broke, or maybe it was just meanr to be made inoperable, but I had no control over the room temp. It was probably around 60-65 tops. The bed wasn't comfortable and made lots of noise when moving in it at all.
