I could not review the rooms, we did not stay. When pulling up to the property well before check in time, the neighborhood was worrisome. We booked here to be able to park and walk to a brewers game. The neighborhood was in the slums, trash everywhere. The hotel itself has a/cs hanging poorly out of windows. Unlike the "touched up photo". I don't know where we would have parked, as the entire driveway was taken up by a camper (learned later owned by owners). I immediately called the property before check in to discuss but left a message. Within minutes my credit card was charged anyway. I understand that the bullish woman owner was defensive and insulted. She did not let me talk. She said that the neighborhood was "quite nice" and rooms "booked solid" ? Then she could have booked our room and not charged us. We were calm and meant no ill will. I wish I'd read the past guests' comments agreeing about the owners scary attitude and neighborhood to go with it.
