Wonderful stay at the lake

This was our second time to Lake Anna and once again enjoyed the beauty mother nature had to offer. The house was very nice but the bathroom set up is a little odd. There are no bathrooms not attached to a bedroom. If someone from the bedroom locked the door and forgot to unlock it, well that was a little bit of a hassle but other than that it was very nice. We enjoyed kayaking, boating, fishing and the kids had a blast in the lake jumping off the dock. At night we enjoyed the ping pong table and playing games. We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful Family Friendly Retreat

As much as we loved our 4 days at Shaded Cove, we honestly really appreciated the great hospitality of the hosts. We had a few needed and within an hour, a courteous team of three returned our calls and fixed the situation promptly. This is the second location we have booked with the hosts and both homes were beautiful and clean. The location was prime and the homes were filled with things to do both in the house as well as on the lake. Shaded Cove had a bedroom with 4 bunk beds and the mattresses were high quality (not usually the case for bunk beds). Ideal for a quiet retreat or a large family reunion. Definitely will be looking for other properties owned by them. Thank you for a great stay!!!!

Perfect Lakeside Stay – Spotless & Well-Stocked!

The house has its own private spot on the lake, which was such a treat. The kitchen was really well stocked, the bedrooms were spotless, and the couches super comfortable. There were plenty of detergents, supplies, shampoo, and shower gel provided. The attention to cleanliness was excellent.

Annual Family Retreat!

Me and big family had the pleasure of being hosted by Daniel and his team for the second year in a row. It was a fantastic time. The house is always immaculate and wonderful time. More importantly the team is incredibly responsive, quick to resolve any issues and great at communicating efficiently. We had a wonderful time and we will be more than likely be back for a third time soon!

We stayed at this property from Monday to Thursday. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped — it had 5 bedrooms, a large deck, hot tub, fire pit, and its own dock, which made it a great setup for a family getaway.Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted on Wednesday when workers came to pump the septic tank. They were on the property for several hours, and the process created a very strong odor around the house and outdoor areas, making it difficult to enjoy the space. Since our visit was short to begin with (check-in after 4 p.m. Monday and check-out at 10 a.m. Thursday), losing much of one day was especially disappointing.We reported this to the property management, but they only offered a brief apology without any compensation or even a later checkout option. While the house itself is very nice, we felt let down by how the situation was handled.
