"Came in the off season, and it was a complete bait and switch. Actual hotel was closed (including pool and restaurant (so no breakfast)). Placed us next door in tiny apartments. Manager gave us the key and left the property. First room had a broken toilet seat so moved us to another one. Staff spoke no English and didn’t understand that we need password for WiFi. Blanket on bed was wet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left the next morning."

"Our stay at the Nesean Plaza was so nice. This stay was a part of our Honeymoon. We got a bottle of champagne and a plate with fresh fruit when we arrived! The staff was very kind. "We had a really lovely stay and would definitely return. The resort was excellent, with several pools, beautiful grounds and a great location right by the beach. Our room was spacious, cleaned daily and very comfortable. There were plenty of places to get food throughout the day and the food was varied, although generally just okay. The facilities were very good, with a well-equipped gym, spa and beauty salon. There are quite a few stairs around the resort, although alternatives are available....

"We stayed in a junior suite. Overall the room was lovely and the view over the beach was the best part. As we were in a suite a sofa would have been nice but there was one chair. The staff at Expedia were very good and answered every query efficiently so will definitely be using Expedia again. Also the hotel staff were very polite. The food area were very clean and had a sufficient variety of options every day although there was always a shortage of spoons and cups. Everyone was constantly asking the staff for more of these. Beach towels, you had to pay 2€ to change which was a surprise. There was no bar after 9pm and there was only 2 sofas by the bar to sit after you had eaten. We probably won't stay at this hotel again but overall we had a nice stay."

"We had a lovely week at the Abaton. All the staff were really friendly and helpful particularly when on departure I discovered I had left my straighteners in the room. The staff went above and beyond to locate them…which they did. We did half board which was really handy and the restaurants and food was amazing and in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in a great location and if you don’t fancy the pool there was plenty of beds on the beach. All in all a very restful week and the weather was gorgeous!"
