The balcony on this property is fantastic with great views of the Gulf. Property was clean and as advertised. Overall, it worked great for our family of four.Beware the mattress is in desperate need of replacement. My husband in particular was sleeping so poorly we decided to drive part of the way home the evening before checkout to get a better nights sleep.Also, if a gym is important to you, this would not be the location to stay. Gym is severely lacking in equipment, does not have hours posted and even checking the door after 6 AM, it was still locked.

Very nice condo-had an amazing view of the ocean and pool. Clean and very secure. Tram was kind of unpredictable on scheduling but eventually got there. If you HAVE to be somewhere uber or rent a car. Beach was a few blocks away, but nice walk. A book of area attractions and "how to's" would have helped a lot but we figured it out. Great weekend-thanks so much!

Birthday getaway

We love Sandestin. Always a great experience at the property. This condo was clean for the most part, some silverware was dirty and there was human hair on the towels and bedding upon checkin. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Perfect Unit and Location

We had a great stay at Sandestin in the Luau building. The communication from the owner was great, they were very quick to respond to questions. There was a minor hiccup but the owners stayed in constant communication with us and all was resolved. The unit was excellent and exactly as described. The views from the corner balcony were amazing. The unit is a quick walk to the beach and having the Tram service to the Village was an added bonus. We will definitely stay in this unit in the future. Thank you!!!

Amazing stay!

What a wonderful apartment! Everything was clean and in good shape. The view from the balcony was superb. The location perfect for beach and nature lovers. The only minus was the bed. The mattress was worn and sunken on both sides.

Impeccable

The outside of the building was not impressive nor was the inside corridors or elevator. Don't let the outside fool you. I thought I has made a mistake and booked the wrong place. As soon as the door to the condo was opened all of my worries vanished. It was perfectly appointed furniture,drapes. 2 big screen TVs.All of the appliances were the best and looked like new. The 1 bedroom over looked the pool. The sofa let out to a sofa bed.The bathroom was very spacious and well stocked with towels. There was even a black face towel to remove your makeup! The view of the beach and property was excellent. The tram rook us around the properties and to shopping and restaurants. The location itself was very good. 2 balconies with high chairs so you could see all around. All I needed was a chaise lounge. The owner was always in touch checking to see if everything was OK. It is the perfect and cozy space I was looking for me and my hubby's short getaway. I have told my friends and family. We would Most definitely be going back! Thanks Marcella for a wonderful getaway. It was just as the pictures only better.

Superb Unit

Located on the 5th floor with a wrap around balcony facing the ocean and overlooking the pool. Unit was clean, updated, and came equipped with everything we needed to start our stay. Property owner was very responsive. We enjoy staying in the gated community of Sandestin, so our teenage son can roam with friends. There is putt putt golf and a basketball court. There is a Tram and the owner provides Tram passes to make it easy getting over to Baytown Wharf for dining. Would book lockout unit again.

Great condo perfect ocean

Sandestin has that perfect clear water you are looking for. I have stayed at the Sandestin Hilton before and this condo literally is in its parking lot. It a great spot. And so much more convenient that Hilton. You can hear and see the ocean . I think it it is closer than it looks in pictures . Easy to park in a covered garage. There are push carts to take stuff to you room. Elevators work great. Condo has keurig coffee maker and a Mr coffee brew coffee maker. There is an app to get instructions on check out and in. The pool was great also. There is a sidewalk from the condo past the beach house restaurant straight to the beach. There is a shower to get sand off on the way back . Took 5 min or less.

Amazing stay at Laua at sandestin resort

This property was amazing!! Beautiful view of the beach, easy quick access to and from the beach! The resort shuttle will take you to shopping and restaurants within the resort and is easily accessible! Condo came with everything needed including beach chairs, a small cooler! Marcella was amazing and so quick to respond to all my questions! If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would!!!
