I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. The pool was nice. The view was immaculate. I enjoyed the amenities. The staff was excellent. Mitchell I think was his name.

Great location on the beach. Sandestin is a huge community spreading from the bay side to gulf side. Checkin took awhile because we had to wait for a shuttle but wasn't too bad. Restaurant/bar right on the beach, beach rentals, and easy access to the beach! Challenging to get ubers at times to areas outside of Sandestin and much farther from Destin than we originally thought..mainly due to having to uber & traffic/construction on the main road that goes to Destin.

Advice to owner and management company
It would have been a great stay if it had not been for a dirty, mildew covered patio door and rusted patio furniture with ripped seat covers. This could be a serious legal issue for the owner if the chairs break under a heavy person! The unit was dated but well kept. The unit two floors up was being renovated and we had to listen to tile being cut with ear piercing noise starting at 8:00 am which made our morning coffee on the rickety chairs even more unpleasant. The noise went on all day into the late evening and was even loud all the way out to the beach. It would have been a good decision of staff to move us to a unit further away. Staff that we encountered was very pleasant. The property and the beach were well maintained and the beatiful waters of Miramar Beach made it an experience, as always.
Loved straight beach access, sad the second floor beach access was under construction. Great amenities and location!

Last time I stay at this place
The reception desk/ building is hidden, so once I found it I got to deal with a person who had such a horrible accent I couldn’t understand half what she was telling me. Once I got my room I had to drive back across the highway and find my way to the right tower, because her directions sucked. Once in my room I found dirty towels, my bed was covered with sand, and some pubic hairs. But the cleaning person did stop by, let herself in while I was changing to look for her lunch box.
Loved having someone right there to answer any questions with a quick text! ..cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in...
although aware with safety need to have codes and using cards to go in and out almost anywhere but for elderly this was frustrating to try to make them work and code to beach wasn’t working for us and had to get another guest to tell us another code etc. .... place by pool where we ate lunch was delicious but VERY expensive and wait was like 45 minutes for sandwiches, then noticed the person i gave order to behind the counter added a tip for her and the order was Just for me , one person so not a huge order

I liked being close to beach and the feeling of being safe. The screens on patio kept coming off tracks and we had trouble with the toilets clogging.

Nice area
It was nice but would have been nice to have more supplies for washing dishes.
Kind of weird not to have a front desk.
I loved the view from the balcony. A few things that went wrong: I specifically requested 2 Twin beds and 1 King bed, and I ended up with 2 King beds.
Our first few mornings there were horrendous They happened to be doing some work/construction on the property. They woke us up around 6am the first few days with loud banging, drilling, etc. Very unpleasant experience.
The property and room were great. Great location at the place we stayed. Downfall to Expedia is they show you a condo and you expect your getting that room and come to find out that’s not the case. The resort the resort told me you don’t have a assigned room till you get there and check in.

The condo itself was great, just as pictured! The building could be updated and the pool area not so inviting. However to be right on the beach made up for it. The number listed for management was not a working number and a few messages sent didn’t get a response. Overall, being beachfront and the condo itself made up for the problems and I’d stay again!

Good for families, but needs to be cleaned better.
Room was still a little dirty, meaning hair was found in the shower and an 18-can beer box was found behind the dresser. I was trying to plug in the light that wasn't plugged in and found the box. Location was good. Parking was fine.
This property was great. My only recommendation would be that the pool bar maybe stay open a little later then 5. But other than that our trip was a blast!
Amazing! From check-in to check-out! My stay at Beachside II for two days on the Fourth of July was amazing. Super clean, easy parking, elevator was fast and up to date. As crowded as the holiday was, the employees were obviously well trained and able to handle situations with a smile. This beach resort is top notch! It spoils you when you have to stay elsewhere! This resort is very well done! My condo was modern and tasteful and I was even able to watch my Netflix! I would ask for the exact same condo next time! Fireworks from my balcony were amazing!
It was nice. Obviously old, but maintained. My hubby took video of everything when we checked in. There were lots of little things wrong: loose shower curtain rods, missing sink stops etc. All the corners in the unit were dirty looking and you could tell they’d been painted over filth. The showers were okay. The smaller shower dripped and my kids didn’t use it. The whole fam used the larger shower. We did have a few issues in our unit. The garbage disposal didn’t work so the kitchen sink drained slow and backed up (gross). We didn’t cook, so we weren’t putting anything beside liquid down the drain. We didn’t call for maintenance - but it was sort of gross when washing cups. Also the hall light by the washer/dryer would not turn on. The light cover was partially off so it looked like someone had tried to repair it. That was in inconvenience, but we managed.
I’m making it sound awful but it was not. Overall, the beds and unit were clean as best they could be in an old rental. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location of the into was great. We would rent this unit again!!! The building as a whole was great. They had fans and portable AC units near entrances and we were grateful for that.
My biggest complaint is that on the 4th of July the parking lot was full. Not everyone had tags and golf cards were in car spots. We almost missed fireworks. I feel the resort should have enforced the parking rules.
Our room wasn’t clean when we arrived. We were moved to a room with more of a dune view instead of the ocean view we paid for. The room was dated and one of the electrical outlets didn’t work. Most of the balcony furniture was rusted and stained any wet clothing. The room wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Not worth it.
