Family Gathering!

We had an amazing time staying at the Blue Lagoon. The house was beautiful, our family gathered from Louisiana , Texas and California to spend the week together. Thank you for providing memories that will last a life time!

Great house for a vacation in Destin!

The property matched the online description. It's nicely decorated with a modern theme. Only drawbacks were one bathroom shower did not get hot water, and a yard maintenance worker came and was doing things outside and blowing some debris into pool. We feel that stuff should not be done when guest are there. Other than that any other minor issue (i.e. broken tv) was rectified quickly.

Excellent choice!

The place was very nice. It was as pictured and described. Everything was in working condition. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and it looked like new. I had to report a little damage we caused, and the management was extremely nice, professional, and helpful. The location was perfect. It was a short drive in the golfkart to the street that you cross and onto the beach. There were 19 of us and lots of room. we loved having our own room with our own bathroom as each room had its own bathroom. We watched fireworks from our balcony that took place on the beach. Having a swimming pool there made the downtime for our seven kids under 10. Have a great time. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay there again.

Amazing vacation with a large group...

This house is beautiful! All of the bedrooms are the perfect size along with the bathrooms. Having the golf cart was key!!! It's too far from the beach to carry all of your things back and forth. The pool is the perfect size and has the right amount of lounge chairs. A few things to consider are: a 5:00 pm check in time is way too late especially when you need to unpack, go to the store, and cook your first dinner. There are not nearly enough pots and pans when you are trying to cook for 20 people in the house. The 3rd floor might benefit from removing the video games and adding a couch so there is another sitting/TV area in the house. The light in the 3rd floor sleeping area is very large and people bonk their head getting in and out of the top bunk. These are 100% just our suggestions to the owner, not to be posted on any social media. We LOVED this home and would stay here again. :)
