Cozy and comfortable stay, excellent location

I visited with my husband and two children, along with my parents and sister, and we enjoyed our stay so very much. For the cost, the location so close to the beach is ideal, and the condo itself was cozy enough for us to have some quality family bonding time but also allowed us some privacy when we needed it. We loved spending time on the huge wraparound balcony—my kids especially loved dancing out there in the rain. Would definitely consider staying here again when we visit!

Couples Golf Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. These two units are wonderful because each couple had very private units. Easy walk to beach and golf is right on the property. Not a great view of the ocean compared to the unit the other two couples we traveled with rented but it was very private. Very comfortable beds and updated decor. You can’t go wrong with this rental.

Reviewer Comments: While this unit was not our choice for this stay, the unit itself was fine. Bathrooms could use updating. The balcony area is very nice. We were moved to this unit at the last minute due to construction on Beachside Two. The handling of this situation/ move was handled very poorly by My Vacation Haven.

Nice Condo with Great Pool

Condo was nice and clean. Nice roomy balcony with chairs. Could have had more blankets available. Had to keep adjusting thermostats because it kept defaulting to 74 or 84 deg. Too warm but it did allow us to adjust so that was nice. Half bath toilet leaked onto floor at base. Kitchen was adequate for us. They only supply 2 trash bags so bring extra one or two in luggage. It was a little hike to and from the beach so a foldable wagon would have been helpful. They supplied 4 chairs and 1 umbrella. Close to tram so transportation to and from shops were good. I recommend Walmart delivery over any other delivery service for groceries. I couldnt get anyone to call me back from other services.

Elevator and Washing Machine

The property was very clean and spacious. My only complaints are there was only 1 elevator working (1 is broken) for a 20 floor building. It took forever to get up and down. Thank goodness we were only on the 3rd floor. If we were higher I would have been so mad. I would have liked to know about this ahead of time. They also don't have enough luggage carts. We could never find one and it was super hard carrying everything and having to wait so long for the elevator. Also the washing machine is way too small. I could only fit 3 bath towels in it at a time. I have never seen a washing machine so small. This was so annoying because I had to do so many loads just to wask the bath towels and beach towels.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful unit in the Luau

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to Sandestin for many years now and have stayed at the Luau during several of our trips. This is a lovely—updated—unit, and probably the nicest one we’ve stayed in. Late check in process was very easy. The beds are very comfortable, and the furniture looks new. The kitchen satisfied our needs—pizza pans, Krueg coffee maker, sufficient cutlery, etc. There is a large wrap around balcony. We have a teenage son, and the “lockout” feature provided a degree of privacy to us and him. The only minor downside is that the efficiency part of the “lockout” lacks clothing space because the dresser is super shallow and the “beach closet” is the only closet in the efficiency unit, and it is so stuff full of beach chairs, etc., that there is no room for clothes. That said, I would absolutely rent this unit again because the good far outweighs that one minor issue—just wanted others to be aware that you’ll be living out of a suitcase for the duration of your stay. I’d still give this place 5 stars with dinging it for that. We had a wonderful stay!
