Room Rating Overall.

We always, and will continue to stay in San Destin at the resort, however, there was mold and mildew throughout our room. Our daughter had to take her allergy medicine and have a continuous fan in order to breathe. The property maintenance texted that they would “paint over it” when renters were not there. We were told there was nothing they(property manager and his team) could do for us.

Awfule

From the first moment we got there the tiles on the entrance were broke and my father tripped. Finding the room was not easy. Once we entered the room it was very hot and smelt awful. This was not handicapped acceptable. We ended up checking my parents out the next morning. The host was not understanding and did not make things right. I would not recommend this property. The room was also outdated.

Sandestin resort was great and unique. This particular condo was not good. Dirty carpet, itchy old bedding, no tv channels. One of primary lights only turned on/off by turning the lightbulb. Desperately needs updated.

Mold/mildew

This property is in as beautiful gated community, the view from they Bay balcony the on problems I had with my room was the ceiling had black mildew/mold all over it, the carpet remained wet my whole 4 day stay so that left the room real moist & stuffy & the pillows on the bed could have been a little better. I reached out to property regarding these issues thru multiple platforms but unsuccessful with response. Finally after getting back home I resch out again now with response & a compensation of 20% = 140 refund which I don't think is reasonable.
