Great location and overall amenities at Sandestin. Traveled with three teens who kept themselves busy all week! Only critique I’ll share is the golf cart was usable but rather old and in need of some TLC.

We loved the kitchen / dining area and it was so spacious! The unit comes with many beach items that are so useful and just overall this was my favorite unit of any I’ve ever stayed at. The view is gorgeous and with the palm trees almost looks like you’re in another country! Everything about the stay was perfect and we will 100% be back!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo exceeded our expectations! The condo was so cute and well-decorated, clean and had everything we could ask for and more! The location was perfect, especially for our family (we have two young kids so being steps from the beach is wonderful). In addition to the heated pool, there is also a kiddie pool which again was perfect for our young kids. This rental does come with a golf cart but we didn’t use it. Only request would be to not have to pay the golf cart fee if not using the golf cart. We enjoyed our time together as a family and cannot wait to return!

Nice place had a few issues but management handled them

We enjoyed our stay overall. The codes we were given for the building and pool areas were incorrect and the bands left in the condo were from last year. We were able to get the proper codes from someone at the site and the management company did bring us the proper bands a couple days into the stay. The golf cart didn’t work, but the company diid handle the issues that came up with it and we just drove around instead. The pool was well heated and clean, as was the hot tub. The unit was updated and had everything you would expect in a rental, plus some extras like beach toys and chairs/umbrellas. We enjoyed our stay here. There were a few glitches but overall they were worked out well and we still had a great time.

Westwinds Sandestin

I did not give this property a total 5 star rating. The unit had the essentials, but not many extras. The view is pretty much blocked by Palm Trees and no sunsets, nor morning sunrises from this unit. If you are looking for location and great access to the beach, you will find it here, just no amazing views. The kitchen was equipped with one hot pad, so if you want to use the oven, bring your own. The unit was decorated, but the couch needs to be replaced. The pool area was nice and the parking garage was nice to use. The rental company was really good to work with and replied to all requests in a timely manner.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is nicely updated. I appreciated the luxury vinyl flooring throughout. It felt very clean. The seating on the balcony was great. The location was amazing. There were only a couple minor issues when we arrived. The comforter on the bed had something gummy on it as well as the floor near it. In the second bedroom, a dresser handle was busted off so we could not use a drawer. Very minor. We enjoyed using the golf cart to get dinner, ice cream, or trips to Publix. It's an older golf cart but still works. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great spot! The upgrades/renovation made it even more enjoyable. Kids loved the ocean view and big screen tvs- but most of all the golf cart! We rode it over to dinner every night. A very fun memory for the kiddos

Family beach trip

Will not be staying here again. The balcony held water so my daughters could not go on the balcony without getting feet wet. When we walked in the smell of the unit smelled like someone had cooked Indian or Mexican food just before we arrived and it smelled like that the entire time. Golf cart worked but was by far the oldest and rustiest one on the lot. The pool didn’t open each day till almost after lunch because they were cleaning it. I appreciate the pool being cleaned, but start at 7 am if it’s going to take that long to clean. Overall for the price, not worth it.

Unit was modern and nicely decorated. Checkin was smooth with the only glitch being the app said check in was at 5 and when we called to see about checking in a bit earlier, they said it should be 4 - glad we called! The only reason I would consider another unit in future is the view from the balcony is pretty much obscured by palm trees so you can barely see ocean. That’s literally the only downside - everything else was great.

We have stayed in multiple condo’s throughout the years and we were extremely satisfied with this condo. We believe we have found a condo that we want to try and book every year for summer and fall vacations. The condo was modernized/up to date, very clean, organized, and felt like home away from home for our family. Highly recommend this particular unit (as long as it doesn’t interfere with my dates, ha).
