Stayed for spring break. Family of 5. Pros: location, beach view, three bathrooms, community pool. Cons: beds were old and loud, could use a contractor (ex: faucet not fully connected in master, kitchen faucet only turned fully off if in a specific position, kitchen cabinets closed with loud bangs, carpet old and stretched, etc) they were working on the elevator while we were there resulting in a long wait during peek times. The rental does not include beach towels but did have a starter pack of the household items. The facility was responsive when we text questions, which was very nice. We took advantage of the free kayak in the bay which was also nice!

Love Westwind, Sandestin, & Baytowne. Our unit was managed by Sandestin Resort through VRBO. Check in was awful. There was no phone number just a cryptic text with poor instructions on how to check in. When we arrived I tjought I had been scammed! Fortunately we finally found a security guard who told us there was an admin building that would check us in. The 800 # on the text went to voicemail and my message was never returned. The towel service was awful. Not enough towels and the felt like prison issue not resort

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Westwinds! We love the property and the pool/hot tub and easy beach access! It is a beautiful place to be with family. Having the bar in the condo area is the best as well! The WARM pool is the best! The condo was clean and as described! The kitchen could be a bit more stocked in items, but overall it's perfect for family!
