“Cute idea, just poorly executed! The domo has no actual floor its just some boards with bamboo between some of the larger gaps, so the dome is filled with spiders, crickets, ants and other bugs. Booking this type of accomodation we expected some bugs but this was hundreds of bugs, and being stung and biten all night, so we got very little actual sleep. Also when we got there the dome looked cute but hadn't actually been cleaned properly, stains on the pillow cases and sheets. Very……

“Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. ”

“Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. ”

Staff were incredibly kind and welcoming—perfect place for a relaxing family getaway. Keep up the good work guys! “Pros: Hot Springs, Good meals with two restaurants, breakfast included; very nice staff Cons: Treehouse was awful to stay in and definitely not worth the money; very outdated, tons of bugs everywhere; it was like staying in a tiny cabin infested with bugs. So disappointing. :(”
