「Charming inn on the grounds of the old Oddfellows campus. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We did not have a chance to sample the wine but the vibes were excellent.」

「The inn looked very quaint on Expedia.com, but come to find out that the restaurant and bar next door are managed separately from the hotel. The manager of the restaurant/bar has nothing to do with the inn! Expedia did not show that this was self check in and that a code would be emailed to us! We stayed 2 nights, no staff on hand, no ice, the tv did not work and no one to call or go to to take care of these issues! There was no one to come in and make up the room! 「Beautiful older building. Great location to walk to food/coffee/attractions. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The train going by every few hours with very loud horn was annoying but not the hotels fault. Easy and convenient parking.」

She asked us to use the code she had provided to allow entry into the property. Unfortunately she had not sent the code prior to our arrival. A guy in a pickup pulled up and told us that the property's host was not available because she was in another town about 25 miles away. 「I did not find this basement room to be clean. The bathroom floor moldings showed evidence of prior flooding. The upstairs guest noises can be heard clearly. 」

This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us.
