“Location of the hotel was brilliant. My son treated me for my 60th birthday as I loved visiting Istanbul before. So he booked it. We all had lovely rooms , my husband & I , my middle son & his wife & youngest son. Except for my eldest son he had the smallest room especially hard with a toddler. They complained to the manager & were moved to a bigger room however that was after a few days. That should not have happened. They should have been given a larger room at the beginning.”

“Riva’s Hotel was overall a very pleasant experience. Staff was helpful and friendly and the location was close to the waterfront. The rooftop restaurant had a beautiful view and good food. Loved walking everywhere within 15-20 minutes to shop, eat and sightseeing. Our room was comfortable and nice, although there were items that needed repair and maintenance. Overall, I recommend this boutique hotel.”

“This hotel is all about the location. It is in the center of Kadikoy, with countless restaurants, bars, and cafes within a few minutes walk. Somehow, despite all the life right outside the building, the rooms were very quiet. It is just a few minutes walk to the metro, multiple ferries, a massive bus station, and the havaist-14 bus that goes directly to / from the IST airport. The entry way / lobby is unimpressive and gives a backpacker hotel / hostel vibe. However, the actual rooms are……

“The room is very clean as well as the entire property that looks like to be renovated recently. The front desk lady that seems to be the owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a wide verity of food and drinks. A fresh Turkish coffee machine as well as American coffee for those who don’t appreciate the delicacy of Turkish coffee 😉”

“We booked the room on the top floor with a large balcony. It had no view but it was lovely to sit outside. The building from the outside is attractive. The room could do with some maintenance but it was functional. The room was cleaned every day if you needed and the lady was always helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel since it is located in a very busy area with lots of restaurants and shops and close to the ferry.”

“It is very convenient if you are coming for the exhibition near by ,besides restaurant in hotel and opposite hotel , there is also a hidden bridge to the Airport shopping area which is just about 15 minutes walk. Strongly recommend if you are coming for a show.”
