We decided to go past Sacramento and stay further away from that area due to cost, the ones that were cheaper we not safe clean. Im glad we waited until Modesto its right off of the freeway, they have a nice hot breakfast and coffee before you leave, I see some of the other negative reviews and do not understand. They must be used to staying at 400 dollar nighy hotels, and even then things are not always that great at expensive places. We stopped for the night to get some rest before going down to So cal from Vancouver washing, if you leave by 5 to 6am or so this is a good point to stop to stay and get rest. Room was clean. was easy check in... and I think if you have super high expectations, then maybe you need to stay at a 400 night hotel. and not nit pick a mark on the wall to justify giving them a 2 star review. I thought it was great for the purpose and was safe, go eat at mels, you wont be disappointed, I cant remember if it was near this hotel or previous exit somewhere. If your looking for a place to sleep that is safe clean and has breakfast!! they made biscuits and gravy and had eggs and these great cinnamon rolls and many other items like bagels yogurt fruit oatmeal, pancakes I think... if your iff about Sacramento drive a couple more hours and just stay here. if your going to so cal you only have like a 4 or 5 hour drive the next day and boom your there, you can take your time in the morning get breakfast at 6 or 630, get your day planned out and be on your way!

Clean and conveniently located. It served me well on my way down to So-Cal. There is fuel and fast food near by and that's about it. I would definitely stay here again if needed.

Check in was professional. We got back from getting snacks/necessities we used the bathroom. The toilet water would rise to rim and took a long time to go down. We flushed again to see if it would do the same. It did! We tried calling room service and kept getting hung up on. Finally after the 10 call they brought us a plunger and we had to plunge it every time we used it. No one check it or asked if it was still happening. It was not pleasant to worry about toilet overflowing from nothing in it. We put TP in waste can. They could if moved us to another room if one was available the next day. No credit or I’m sorry. Nothing I paid in full for a room that needed some bathroom maintenance. When we told them the problem they brought us a do it yourself solution. I paid to stay at a hotel but they didn’t pay me to do their job that whole weekend and they are paid to do maintenance if needed during my stay. We should be given something back. It was a hassle instead of a mini vacation we planned to have.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Hotel is close to freeway and backs to a busy gas station. Even though we requested a room at the end farthest from the freeway, the noise from both made it difficult for us to sleep.
