"If you want a beach house that is literally on the beach this is the house for you! Walk right off the gated porch and into the sand. We have a small dog so the gates were a huge plus not to have to worry about her getting out! She loves the beach as much as we do. We only used the king bed and it is very comfortable! Not to firm & not too soft. No, I'm not Goldilocks but as folks with back issues It is always a concern. You will have everything you need in the unit. The kitchen is nicely stocked. Steve, the owner, was easy & helpful when communicating. I contacted him twice about restaurant recommendations and an issue with the TV and both times he responded quickly. Also, there is a walkway across the street that gives you access to the Sound!! The only criticism I might have was the carpet could stand a cleaning. Some stains but no odor and I did not feel grossed out like in some hotel rooms. I would definitely stay here again!"

The moment we walked in and up to the main floor we were welcomed by sweeping panoramic views of the ocean—exactly the kind of peaceful, picture-perfect setting we were hoping for.The house itself was beautifully maintained, bright, and airy, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying coffee on the deck while watching for dolphins was absolutely magical.One of our favorite parts of the trip was walking along the shoreline and collecting shark teeth. We found so many! It became our daily treasure hunt and added a fun, memorable experience to the stay.The location couldn’t have been better—quiet, relaxing, and just steps to the sand. The private beach access was unbeatable. Whether we were walking on the beach, exploring the island, or simply unwinding indoors, every moment felt relaxing and rejuvenating.We would return in a heartbeat.
