“I loved this place. All the little extras got my attention. Very clean. A little surprise of a little duck sitting in bathroom. Loved the seasonal creamers available for coffee. Breakfast was hot and there was a variety. Staff were great.”

“SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and perfectly clean. And the town, though small, has good restaurants, bars, and coffee places, a grocery store, and a great spot to soak tired feet in the Pecatonica River. Ray, the host, was……

“I was traveling from Iowa to Ohio and needed a place for a short sleep. I rolled in around 11:30. They switched me to a larger room so that I could have a non-smoking room. Room was clean, bed was older but was able sleep well. Left early the next morning so I didn’t see much of the area. ”

“It's a very simple building but still easy to get warm despite it being cold enough to snow overnight. The property was clean and tidy, and the choice of furniture and fittings was well thought out. It was easy to find and located at the front of the farm just off a quiet dirt track, it's like having the place to yourself, which is exactly what I wanted. I spent one of the days in the Cabin and walking to the state forest preserve without driving, but there are plenty of restaurants and grocery……

“Booked for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The cabin is large! Enough space for big families. We didn’t end up taking out the canoes but we did enjoy the fire pit and afternoon lounging overlooking the water. So peaceful and truly relaxing. There’s a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils and some spices. Love this because they usually aren’t and we always stay in and cook at these types of cabin rentals. It was a pleasant surprise!……
