Beautiful log cabin with all the creature comforts of home. Private fishing lake

"The cabin was beautiful. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. The grass was high and other people were using the lake while we were there and we couldn’t use it as we had planned. Host was quick to respond to us which was appreciated. Our stay wasn’t exactly as hoped but the layout of the cabin and its proximity to Lake Michigan made it worth it."

"Beautiful home. Everything that you could possibly need. We even had fresh veggies from the little garden. The grandkids loved the paddle boards and the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again."

"Everything was so amazing!! My friends and I had such a wonderful time. From the spacious kitchen, evenings by the fire pit, and cozy home it was perfect. The hosts were so kind and the house was so cute. We will most definitely be back.The only issue we had was we almost ran out of toilet paper/paper towels (but there were 7 of us for 3 nights/4 days! Other than that it was fantastic and so close to so many fun spots."

"We had a great stay at The Wolf Den. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated and worked perfectly for our family gathering. Peaceful lake view from the deck. We enjoyed the kayak, canoe, hot tub, deck and big yard. We did not think the beach and swimming was as described. Host was responsive and easy to work with. Finding the cottage was a little tricky, better signage would help."

"We booked not thinking it would be so hot in the tent. The afternoon sun directly hit the front of tent which made the first part of the nights sleep almost unbearable. Mornings were pleasantly cool. The restrooms/shower rooms were a bit further than we anticipated from our tent. Not much to rave about for breakfast- little yogurt and berry cups and muffins of some sort. There were chickens and at least one rooster on property which made it fun for the children who stayed there. Plenty of room to run. S’mores around a fire in the evenings was nice. Stay was within a 1015 minute drive from most places in South Haven. May consider staying again if the opportunity arose just not in the heat of the summer."

"The house was nice and clean on a dead in road that was very quiet. The host was very good with anything we needed. there was plenty of room for the 7 people that stayed and the kitchen was very well stocked. We would stay here again. Thanks Don"

"The pictures did not do this place justice! This was the perfect quiet get away. Don't be afraid to check out the local area spots not in South Haven or Saugatuck. We did the Dune Tours in Saugatuck. Modales winery was also a nice hidden gem. Check out the visitor's guide that Holly provides as she provides great suggestions!!"
