"We enjoyed our stay at Mercure Hotel Aachen. The room was clean and staff quickly responded to our request for extra pillows (we originally only had one each). All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Not much noise outside considering how busy the Christmas markets were, so we slept comfortably. "

"Dit was ons tweede verblijf hier. De kamers zijn proper met een goede douche. Gratis minibar wordt dagelijks aangevuld Ideale ligging voor de kerstmarkt. Bovenverdiep voor lekker ontbijt is mooi en met een mooi uitzicht."

" Very clean hotel/room, pleasant staff and a wonderful breakfast selection (though a bit pricey). I would have given it 5 stars if not for the odd room layout. I had a single queen room. The toilet was immediately to the left of the door, but the sink, shower and tub were around the corner. I found that odd. There was an electric kettle in the room with a few tea and instant coffee selections, and a mini fridge. The room size was good with two windows that you could open. I came in by train and you can take bus 3 or 13 to the Hansemannplatz stop. Cross the street to Peterstraße and the hotel is down on the left. Easy to get to and a short walk further down Peterstraße gets you towards the old town. "

"Rustig gelegen vakantiewoning, voorzien van alle comfort. Heerlijk om vanuit de leefruimte naar de vogels in de tuin te kijken. We maakten mooie herfstwandelingen startende vanuit het huis."

"Der Check-In durch die "Gastgeber" war überaus freundlich, bei Problemchen waren sie sofort zur Stelle und haben an einer Lösung gearbeitet. Die Bäder waren sehr sauber. Die Küche ist zwar klein, aber man hat alles, was man benötigt. Die eine oder andere Pfanne könnte eventuell mal ausgetauscht werden, für unsere Zwecke hat es aber mehr als ausgereicht.Der Wintergarten lädt zu gemütlichen Abendstunden bei diskreter indirekter Beleuchtung ein.Leider hatten wir das Problem, dass einige Wespen ebenfalls Zuflucht in der Unterkunft gesucht haben, sodass das Lüften sich teilweise etwas schwieriger gestaltet hat, da nur die Terassentür am Wintergarten ein Insektenschutz vorweist.Alles in Allem waren wir aber sehr zufrieden und hatten eine schöne Zeit in Monschau.Sogar unser Stoffpinguin hat nach einer spontanen alleinigen Verlängerung schnell und komplikationslos seinen Weg nach Hause gefunden"
