「This is a great property. The area was quiet and located in a nice neighborhood. The house was perfect for four adults and there was plenty of room for all four of our cars. The backyard is very nice and plenty of room to gather. I would highly recommend the property.」

「It’s a very special place, especially for those who want solitude and natural beauty. The house is a rustic farmhouse. The kitchen is new and very nice. The bedrooms are a mix of queen beds, bunk beds, and a small room with a full size (tight fit). The house is bigger than the two of us need, but the property is so beautiful it’s worth it to us. We do day excursions to surrounding sights, but mostly we hang out on the lawn by the small pond and creek and read, plus stare at the expansive view!」

「Absolutely perfect for us!! Shellie is a great host. Very responsive. The cabin is cozy; located near beautiful places just waiting to be discovered; or staying there and watching the deer wander thru the yard, or listening to the Sandhill cranes. We love spending time in this fabulous place!」

「This house was perfect for our three generations, ages 6 months to 72. Kitchen was well-equipped, game room, outdoor toys, zipline over the pond, enormous grassy field, and an outstanding view of Mt Shasta. Easy check in, and minimal check-out requirements. Our only negative is that we didn't book for more days!」

「This house was a fantastic, charming home. It was super clean and comfy and perfect for our small group and 2 little dogs. I loved the private fenced-in backyard area. Plenty of shade to sit out there with our dogs when it got really warm. It was a great location to explore Mount Shasta since it was within walking distance of the main downtown area as well as their local food coop. I would definitely book this place again in the future. 」

「While working in Weed, we found this great cabin in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful scenery (trees, Mt. Shasta and the river, not too far away) to relax and recharge. Hard to come back to our normal houses after staying here. Peaceful relaxation serenity. Thank you for being a great host! 」

「Nice roomy cabin with lots of open space. There were five of us staying at this time and everyone loved the experience. The beds were very comfortable and the large property was very nice just to walk around and enjoy. we were here with our cars for a car show, and the only negative thing was that the driveway was gravel and dirt and made for a lot of extra cleaning prior to our show events.」

The owners were great and had a very quick response time. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for such a wonderful place for a much-needed getaway!」

「Great family gathering fun overall! Space was a little misleading when you pulled up. The pictures gave me the impression that you had the whole space but in actuality we were only able to occupy the garage space that had been converted into a the living space. The space was pretty cool with a nice kitchen, the downside was it was not the cleanest. 」

「This historical house is gorgeous and well maintained. It has a real old world feel to it, yet very comfortable. Location is absolutely superb - within an easy walk from downtown restaurants, and very close to skiing areas.We had a wonderful time.」
