“The room was updated from what I saw on yelp but in a very good way. The room was very clean ”

“WiFi didn’t work the whole time and nobody seemed interested. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Both showers were either very hot or very cold with no way to mix. Bathtubs leaked through the drain so ere basically non-functional. On the positive side the unit was clean when we got there. Nice proximity to the lake.”

“When we arrived, we were assigned a cabin without a stove but the manager quickly rectified it. However, we were only supplied a small saucepan and no cooking utensils. We did have dishes, an oven mitt, one mixing bowl, silverware, and mugs and cups. The shower had 2 settings: ice cold or scalding hot. Not a big deal for me but I was traveling with a toddler and she got burned as the water turned from cold to hot in an instant. There was a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the entrance door. This was……

“Super unique accommodation - sadly had to cut my stay short given that i forgot my dogs medication but i plan to rebook! The tent stay was fabulous and nothing like the sound of a rushing river to put you to sleep! Just a really special nature-driven stay!”

“I had a frustrating experience with this stay. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM. While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city. “Kayaking on the lake was lovely. The room was very clean and had the cutest cottage charm. We visited in May, but these units are well suited for winter activities as well, with the jetted tub, fireplace and kitchenette. The heat was off, the outside temperature dropped into the 40's after midnight and the unit was still almost 80° inside.”
