“This is a friendly, peaceful, and authentic hotel that is blessedly removed from the super busy center but easily walkable to the cathedral, markets, and various restaurants. There is a peaceful rooftop terrace where you can find self serve beverages as well as breakfast (both for a small extra charge). It is so wonderful to stay in a place owned and managed sustainably by locals who love it. I will definitely be back. ”

“Excellent boutique hotel on a budget. Had to make our own coffee and the bar across the street was loud on the weekend. But the rooms were great, very clean. Service was good and has AC. ”

“Totally fell in love with this hotel. Once you enter it’s peaceful and calm, with a beautiful courtyard restaurant and another courtyard open to the sky. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and newly renovated. Breakfast each day was a different menu. Highly recommend!”

“If not for the fresh fruits and yoghurt at breakfast, the stay would have been below average. The rooms lack proper ventilation, and guests are requested to keep the only small bathroom window open to allow for airflow.”

“Propiedad linda y mut bien ubicada en el centro dela ciudad. Habitaciones grandes y agradables. Excelente que tenga estacionamiento gratuito.El personal sumamente amable y servicial. Podría mejorar la limpieza del piso (mis calcetines terminaron muy sucios de caminar con ellos). A la regadera le hace falta mantenimiento (únicamente destapar las salidas) ya que el chorro se dispersa por otros lados, en vez de caer hacia abajo.”

“I have stayed here many times in the past. We often stay closer to Alcala if we are traveling with people who want to shop and do sight seeing activities every day. But for a relaxing, stress free time in Oaxaca there is nothing like being a little separated from the bustling downtown, elevated above the city with panoramic views, a great bar, restaurant, room and pool service, and easy parking. ”

“I stayed here for 4 nights and overall had a mixed experience. First of all, the team are genuinely lovely! Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming and clearly trying their best.
