Exceeded Expectations
Our trip to Montego Bay was split between staying near the Strip and staying at a resort. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at Shantelle's rental property. It far exceeded our expectations.
We arrived a little early and met Keesha, who manages the property. She was so nice to our family and welcomed us immediately to the home. Once check in was available, she gave us a mini tour of the property and answered any question we had. She suggested a few thigs to do nearby and provided directions to close stores/restaurant. By far, the best welcome I have ever received renting a property. Keesha is the best!
Overall, the property is amazing. The pictures are exactly how the property looks, but with an added plus....a new upgrade to the patio. Construction was almost completed when we arrived and we benefitted from the new gazebo in the back yard. The property is a corner unit, so there is plenty of room for kids to play on the side of the house, while parents relax on the patio.
The entire property is gated, so safety was never a concern. There is a small club house and pool that my family and I enjoyed late at night. I believe there will eventually be a gym in the clubhouse.
If driving, parking can get a little tricky, if it's peak season. There was another guest in the attached cottage that used both parking spots. So I had to park the car further down in the open area of the complex. Security did question me about parking in another vacant unit's driveway, so that was the only option. Not a major inconvenience, just something to be aware of
The location was THE BEST. No need to rent a car, you can take a short taxi ride to the strip. Everything was no more than 2 miles away and actually walkable. I walked to the Starbucks both days with no problems.
Overall, we HIGHLY recommend this rental. Excellent house manager (Keesha), prompt replies from Shantelle (owner), close proximity to the airport, strip and beaches, and a beautiful rental property.
