Property well maintain, rooms are cleaned, all staff members are very pleasant and make sure all the guests treated well. some seaweeds but the staff did a great job daily to clean the beach. Calypso restaurant food needs more spices and love.

The hotels beautiful.. on checking in was not told basic stuff like where toilets are where to go or what time breakfast is also needs more entertainment and the food wasn't all that it was nice enough but not authentic and most stuff on menu was unavailable... sea food night never had most the menu drinks were sweet not enough alcohol.. I asked for an iron on day 1 through calling front desk day 2 cleaner asked me if I needed it but still never got it stayed 2 nights I would stay again just sort the food part.. beach staff was fantastic

The front desk staff was not at all helpful or great for a 5star resort. We booked this resort for the Indian restaurent and the front desk was not even aware if the restaurant was open - it was closed all 3 days that we stayed there, Everything was bad except the chefs at the open restaurents trying thier best. The zen was anything but zen very very noisy and mediocre food for a 5 star and reservation only seating. The beach right outside the hotel smelled like sewer and garbage , the pool supply was good - working hard . The only saving point was the buffet restaurent which had many options - fresh juice and fresh made to order omletts and sea food. The Indian chef made his best attempt at our indian food dishes. There is a long way to go to bring this to a 5 star resort

Employees were wonderful. All of them greeted us and showed us love. Food was extremely disappointing. Items ordered were barely warm, undercooked and not much flavor other than The Jerk Hut. Food has definitely gone down in quality since our last visit. In the steakhouse I ordered a martini and was told that they didn’t have martinis yet the table next to us drank martinis the whole time. The food that they list on their menu in the app is not what they have available to order in the restaurants. Tex-Mex restaurant was horrible plus they didn’t have menu options available. Mini Bar attendant Dre was great, Shania in housekeeping was the sweetest and our Buffet Waiter Jaycee was the best. Very attentive! We tipped everyone as the issues were not the fault of the employees. When making our reservation at the Hideaway they asked if we were celebrating anything and we replied that we were celebrating our anniversary vacation that was canceled due to the damage from the hurricane. At check in they also asked if we were celebrating anything and again I repeated the remarks of our anniversary vacation. They did nothing to recognize this celebration. We WERE NOT even told Happy Anniversary! The location and beach were great and we did get to visit with our local friend down the beach.

Title: Amazing Couples Getaway in Jamaica! 🇯🇲🌴 My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters! We traveled to Jamaica to celebrate her birthday, and it was definitely a memorable experience. We really enjoyed the adults-only atmosphere, the beautiful resort, and having access to the neighboring Royalton property. Being able to enjoy both properties was a huge plus and gave us more options for entertainment, dining, and relaxation. The atmosphere was perfect for a couples getaway, with a great balance of relaxation, fun, and opportunities to enjoy Jamaica beyond the resort. Overall, we made some wonderful memories and truly enjoyed our time together. Jamaica is a beautiful country with an incredible culture, and this trip made us want to come back again! We would definitely recommend Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters to couples looking for a fun and relaxing Caribbean vacation! 🇯🇲❤️

I am extremely disappointed with my birthday experience at the resort and would like management to address these issues promptly. Upon arrival, I was told my reservation had been switched, although I never requested or authorized any change. After the check-in delay, we arrived at our room to find that the birthday decorations I had confirmed via email were not provided. Additionally, the air conditioning and hot tub were not working on balcony . We were then required to pack our belongings and move to another building, only to be placed in a room that does not match what I specifically booked and paid extra for. My priority was an adults-only room with a pool view and hot tub, and the room we were moved to does not provide the experience I purchased.Instead of enjoying my birthday, much of the evening was spent dealing with maintenance, multiple staff members entering our room, packing, and relocating. They moved us an 3rs time we had to move again and the first few hours the ac worked but then it went out maintenance in/out. The property was clean the food was good but my birthday was ruined. They did give us a room decorated and private canopy which was nice but still our ac didn’t work and we slept miserable the last 2 nights

The staff that we encountered at every level were very pleasant, helpful and courteous. Joel, Deane, Ackeem, just to mention a few names that I had taken note of. There was also our host in the seafood restaurant who went beyond his duty to see to our satisfaction. The property is lovely, food choices good, but the staff is the greatest 'asset' for Royalton Blue Waters. My only complaint is the food. I did not enjoy my meals at all, with the exception of the grilled salmon. Overall I'm giving the property a 4 out of 5 rating.
