Booked twice for my mom while she visits in town and both times absolutely lovely ! She stayed in the one bedroom cottage with the fire place and enjoyed it very much. The location is absolutely perfect ! Right near all the restaurants and also 10 mins walk to the beach.

I had a fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel!!! The property was in the best location…very walkable to the coast and the quaint downtown shopping area. I absolutely loved my room…the bed was super comfortable and the claw foot tub was a real plus! The staff was super friendly and the check-in process was quick and easy. I give Centrella Hotel stars in all categories!!

Staff was really friendly and the yogurt and granola for breakfast was really delicious. We got a cottage which is really the way to go for a cozy private weekend. The location is the best you can find in Monterey if you want to get away from the tourist area and all the shops are pretty close.

The beds were comfortable. The room was so tiny we could barely walk past each other. The shower head was so high up the water almost didn't reach you. The breakfast was mostly fair at best. However the place is adorable, and totally walkable to downtown.

We had a room in the main house this time, but I have stayed in the cottages prior. I prefer the cottages, but the room was nice, as well. The yogurt parfait in the morning was excellent. Great stay and walking distance to beach & parks.

Super cute hotel with a great location. Complimentary glass of wine and breakfast was a nice plus. Parking is either on limited spots in front of it or on the street. Privacy however is limited. If you’re on the first floor, you can hear everybody walking around and talking in the hotel.

I was a little scared after reading some of the other reviews, but the towels were white and the bedding smelled clean. I missed out on the champagne check in and the wine, that would have been nice. The location is great. My only complaint was the check in wasn't really friendly and we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the front desk.

Easily our favorite hotel in Monterey area. Enjoy free parking, walkable to nearby Lover’s Point beach, several great restaurants as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We also really enjoy all the small details such as the complimentary glass of wine in afternoon or their delicious breakfast in the morning. The staff is also always friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent location in Pacific Grove, close to downtown, lots of restaurants nearby. It's walking distance to Lover's Point and trails. The hotel itself is very old, so no modern amenities. Rooms are tight so large suitcases would not work. Parkings very limited. Be prepared to park on street. Continental breakfast in the morning, coffee/ tea available throughout the day was very helpful. We even received complimentary welcome glass of wine on a Sun 5-8pm. Wonderful experience overall.

Hotel location was excellent (close to downtown Pacific Grove, shopping, restaurants, the beach). Breakfast was less than expected. Provided bagles but only with cream cheese no butter. "Parfait" was also only offered with cream cheese, would have preferred yogurt. We wound up getting coffee, bagels/muffins/pastries at a local coffee shop each morning.
