Beautiful and comfortable interior and furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything is exceptionally clean. The hosts were great at responding to questions and was easy to work with from reservations, check-in and check-out. Neighborhood is close to trails for walks. We highly recommend.

Fantastic place for a family getaway!

This place has everything one could want. Even an outdoor pizza oven! It was well-located with easy access to The Lodge at Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, and downtown Carmel. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful sunny deck and home in PB!

The home was well equipped with new pots/pans and dishes to easily accommodate us during our stay. The backyard was relaxing to enjoy with the fire pit and BBQ. We even had time to use the hot tub. Loved spending time on the deck to enjoy the sun and view. Great access to the Forest and Hwy. We would highly recommend for others to stay here. The beds were comfortable and a lovely bright home.

Newly-remodeled home and great location!

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property in the heart of Pebble Beach. It was clearly recently remodeled with a fantastic kitchen that included all of the necessities, a large family room area to relax in, and plenty of space in each of the three bedrooms! Best of all, the centralized location within Pebble Beach while also being only a couple of minutes from Highway 1 made it easy to get to downtown Monterrey and Carmel. We'd happily stay here again!

Rennsport Reunion Trip

Great alternative to hotel rooms which were basically unavailable for the Porsche gathering. Lovely house with many amenities that were offered. I'm convinced for next time this is the way to go!

We stayed here for my husband’s 40th birthday and it was the best time! We’ve recently been under an immense amount of stress and this getaway was just what we needed. Beautiful home, amazing location!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Pebble Beach home. It was just as pictured and had plenty of room for everyone in our party. The home was very well supplied and had just about anything we might have needed. The living area was comfortable and stylish and we loved eating breakfast on the front and back patios. Our daughter had fun playing ping pong and exploring with our dog. The location was really close to Carmel and Monterey, only a 10 minute drive. We had a wonderful trip and loved staying at this amazing home!!

Quiet spot, nice floor plan, clean and updated

We had a nice stay. There are several comfortable outdoor spaces for sitting and enjoying the woodsy setting. The view would be lovely, but was difficult to enjoy from inside as the big picture window was cloudy (not dirty, but due to a defective seal, usually covered under warranty and easily fixable). The interior was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. Hosts were very helpful and communicative.

Lovely well-furnished home

I was there for business but managed a few non business events. I loved that a dog was welcomed and they had blankets to protect furniture in case my puppy got on the furniture. Though I did not cook, the house was well stocked to create a feast. Management was very responsive. Neighborhood setting so one had to drive everywhere-fyi.

Stunning home

We decided to stay in Carmel for the weekend for my wife's birthday. She loves downtown Carmel and the restaurants and of course the beach. I also invited my family to stay. I can start by saying the house has pretty much every amen you can think of in a rental location is perfect. Seven minutes either to the beach or downtown Carmel. Close to the Monterey Bay aquarium if you need to go there about 13 minutes at the end of the day it was an amazing house and we had a good time. We don't want Marco the property host. He was great to deal with from the beginning and responded to my texts. Also gave me pointers in the beginning to make sure what to do on some cute items. I don't know it was a great trip and will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Beautiful home

My family, incl our grown children, infant grandson and dog, thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautifully remodeled home. If you plan on cooking during your stay, you'll find that the kitchen has everything you could need. The bedrooms are spacious, and the mattresses are very comfortable. There are also multiple rollaway beds in various closets for additional guests. The many outdoor seating areas give you options to relax and enjoy the view and if lucky enough, the sunny weather. We were disappointment that the ping pong table featured in the listing is no longer there. We were looking forward to a family tournament! But the very clean hot tub, fire pit (s'more supplies provided!) and beautiful outdoor kitchen offered plenty of other distraction. The only other comment I have is regarding the many stairs inside and outside the home. If you have any mobility challenges, this may not be the most ideal place to stay. To lessen your workout on the stairs, you can enter the back door to access the top floor, master bedroom, kitchen and family room. There is another door to access the bottom floor (other 2 bedrooms and laundry). But the house is so large, including many outdoor spaces, we found ourselves going up and down the stairs to find each other! Overall, I highly recommend this home and location to anyone planning on visiting the Monterey Carmel area.

Great location to experience all the Monterey/Pebble Beach Peninsula has to offer

We really enjoyed our stay at Scenic Solitude. It was a very comfortable and well-equipped home and was centrally located to all the venues and activities we wanted for our vacation. The home is beautiful, very clean and matches the online post and reviews very well. The only exception was that there wasn't a ping-pong table on property (as pictured). I wish there was a door on the primary bedroom shower and that the shelf to hold shampoo/conditioner/soap was actually attached to the wall vs. sitting on the floor. I also agree with other reviews that it's a little awkward that the only bathrooms with showers/baths are located as part of an ensuite. So, our second son had to walk through his brother's bedroom or our bedroom to take a shower. For our family, that wasn't the end of the world. For other guests, that might feel less convenient. Communication with Marco was smooth and easy ahead of and during our trip. I do think the check-in process could be simplified and not require a physical stop at the office before arriving at the property. All of the information shared with us in person could have been documented in pre-check-in and post-check-in emails and the binder that is found on the kitchen island once you check-in. Perhaps, as frequent VRBO renters, we are more familiar with the standard information and procedures. But, the office check-in, felt like an unnecessary and somewhat time-consuming step in the process. We would definitely recommend the house to others.

This house was perfect for our family get together. The house has a lot of features that we took advantage of to spend time together (like the great outdoor fire feature. One thing I didn’t realize from the listing, you can see the ocean from the deck and front windows. It was a nice surprise to have a distant view down to the ocean. Highly recommended property.

Scenic Solitude was perfect for our long weekend trip with our kids and my parents. The beds were comfortable and there was enough space for everyone to spread out. Carmel/Pebble Beach Family Trip - July 2025

The Scenic Solitude home was just as gorgeous and immaculate as the photos show! My family and I truly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home during the 4th of July week. The home is in a prime location and is a spacious home on a huge lot with more amenities than we anticipated. Also, extra star for being pet friendly! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
