I had high hopes for this place. The pictures make it look a little nicer than it is. Our room had a missing towel bar which was located in the closet. And there was a barn door for the bathroom that was not set up properly, so it was completely stuck and unable to open and close easily. The comforter which was white had a black stain on it. The young woman at the front desk seemed more interested in her phone & if she wasn’t behind the counter you wouldn’t know she worked there since she was dressed super casually with no visible identification. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Varias veces me había quedado en el hotel y no había tenido ningún tipo de problema, pero ayer tuve una experiencia terrible me entregaron una habitación que no había sido limpiada no tenía papel de baño, no tenía vasos ni bolsas no tenía toallas. La verdad fue muy lamentable. Mi experiencia me pareció muy extraño, porque como digo ya me había quedado otras veces anteriores, pero esta vez no sé qué pasó

For a person reservation, room only provi with one set of towels and the tile paper roll was nearly gone, thank God it was just for one day. Other than that, i would stay there again, I will be more aware of supplies

Bathroom was dirty, hairs everywhere, only almost finished toilet paper roll, called front desk to ask for more they stated we needed to wait until next morning 8am. We arrived late at night so that was inconvenient for us. Location is in a great area it sucks it was not clean. House keeping didn’t take out trash the following day so we had a pile of trash for the 2 days.

I would never go near a hotel hot tub so it being out of commission seemed like a bonus to me, since it was outside our window. Room and location was great and they were accommodating to our two large dogs. We would stay here again.

The bed was very comfy. Only issue was the bed frame bars are longer than the bed. I kept hitting them with my feet when I got up every time. Needs to be fixed. Also 9 am is very early to be knocking on the door to ask if we need service. Probably should wait till 10am or even call.

We came into this new view from afar. We got into the hotel. We felt very unsafe and unsettling. random people walking around in the back of the hotel. The room had sliding glass doors where anybody can access them at anytime. We ended up leaving and not enjoying the stay going into 2 hours of just staying there. The housekeeping staffing was still cleaning our room which it was not ready at all.

The staff is incredibly kind! The facility is in a great location!!! The rooms are trashed- very dirty. The jacuzzi looks terrible and there was sand in the bed sheets. But the location was outstanding!

Parking and the shopping around the property were excellent. The property itself was another story. Room was filthy and looked like basic minimal cleaning took place. Looked like health code violations everywhere. Stains on walls, broken outlets, dirty floors, hairs in tub but the fridge worked.

Staff checked someone else into my room because they had a "similar" name, so when I went to check in my reservation could not be found. Isn't this why they're supposed to check for ID's? After a 6 hour drive I did not want to have to deal with this because the staff couldn't take an extra 30 secinds to actually READ! I booked 2 queen beds, and the room given to use because of the mixup was 2 full, making the stay cramped. The bathroom sink wouldnt drain, and the tub had a gunk in it even before use. Shower fittings were pulling away from the walls. While cheap, I definitely will look for other places to book in Monterey.

The property is in need of an update - a renovation. Finishes and fixtures are showing age. Cleanliness is OK, but there were cobwebs on the window sill. Doors do not close properly. Showerhead should be replaced. This photo is of the restaurant that closed five years ago. Location is very good for access to Carmel, PB and Monterey.
