「I had no idea of alllll the stairs needed to reach the place. It was a challenge with the bags. The place has air conditioning but they are mobile units that bring the warm air in. It was quiet and nice to have a kitchen which is very functional. We enjoyed the space. The owner was very good at communicating. No living room. The area is beautiful.」

「An amazing view! However, nowhere does it tell you that it is the equivalent of about 10 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Also, they will help you with your bags, but I didn’t find out about this until after I had checked in. (probably my bad.) Once you get there, it’s a fabulous place. Spacious, wonderful views, and great vintage design.」

「Zero check in which had us waiting and Jo entry late, they sent details only at 18.00…. Which we never received, then they tried to contact me 10 times, at incorrect number. Apartment cold, bed uncomfortable, two extra fees plus local tax, so 3 extra fees, I knew about 2…. Impossible to get downstairs all the time for smoking…very long walk from station. 「My stay here in Monterosso was lovely. Please be warned, there are about 100 stairs or so straight up, leading to the room. I wouldn’t recommend if you are not able to climb a lot of stairs. But the location was perfect, a little off the beaten path, so super quiet and serene. Except there are times when you can hear the people above you from the bedroom walking or pushing in/out chairs. 「We absolutely loved this stay on our trip to Italy. Matteo is the best host I’ve ever encountered. He met us close by the apartment, was extremely friendly, helped us with the luggage and wanted to be sure we had the best trip ever.
