Der Aufenthalt war super!Wir hatte leider über fewo Direkt gebucht. Die Announce assoziert, dass es sich um ein allein stehendes Haus handelt. Das ist nicht so! Es ist ein Appartement in einem alten Gutshaus. Hier werden drei Wohnungen vermietet. Trotzdem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. Gary, unser schottischer Host, war super und hat großen Input gegeben. Besonders empfehlenswert ist seine Weinprobe bei Franca! Die Wohnung, der Pool und die Umgebung ist mega super, allerdings ist der Weg zum Gutshof sehr schlecht in Stand gehalten und die Fahrdauer nach Florenz - obwohl es nur 22 Kilometer sind- beträgt 1,5 Stunden, da man ab Villa Constanza mit der Bahn fährt. Trotzalledem und vor Allem wegen Gary würde ich jederzeit wieder kommen. Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis! Traumurlaub, wenn man bereit ist, Entfernungen zu akzeptieren.

Had a fab short break here, away from it all.....A slight climb up the hillside, however lovely views from all angles and a great chill out place. Get your provisions on the way and you don't have to go anywhere, just relax. Or there is a big supermarket under 20 mins away.Huge shared pool and plenty of chairs, sun loungers and shady places to sit as well.Gary the host was excellent and very helpful.The apartment was spacious with the basics there for you.All in all a lovely place to stay to unwind.

Our stay here was just as we planned, out of town, quiet, relaxing and central to all the areas we wanted to see. The on-site property manager, Gary, is amazing! He set us up with dinner reservations, wine tasting bookings, and all information on sites to visit and the easiest way to get there.

Villa Eleanora

Another amazing stay at the villa! Thank you Fillipo! It was so enjoyable staying in our favorite area of Tuscany tucked between the olive groves and grape vines. The morning vistas and evening sunsets were breathtakingly beautiful. We even had a swim in the pool. Gary was the perfect host making sure we had dinner reservations even loaned us some VIETRI pottery for some photos. We all said that we wish we had of stayed longer. We hope to be back next year! Ciao for now.

Logement situé dans un endroit magnifique

Logement entouré de vignes et il y fait calme, une piscine très grande qui permet de ne pas être les uns sur les autres lorsque plusieurs familles s’y trouvent. Situé à 1h de Pise, le logement est spacieux. Gary ( le co-hôte) est une personne très très agréable, toujours là pour vous donner un conseil ou vous aider ! Le wifi n’est pas top, attention à la propreté et un conseil, mettre un peu de sel et poivre ainsi que quelques tablettes lave vaisselle à disposition et un ou deux sous plats , aussi prévenir ou prévoir pour la cuisine un essuie vaisselle, une lavette… un lieu vraiment magnifique à découvrir. Merci à Gary !!

We thoroughly enjoy in the stay in the Rustic flat of an 18th century villa in the heart of Tuscany, home of the Frescobalbi Winery. We never met Filippo, but quickly became friends with the onsite host, Gary. His recommendation for the local tour of the Frescobaldi Winery was excellent where we enjoyed some of the best wine in the world from the oldest winery in the world. Also, the pool is amazing!

Tuscany home away from home

Our family of five LOVED “Villa Eleanor.” At first we were concerned it would be too far away from it all and it turns out we were completely wrong. It is a wonderful environment to come and go from. Gary, the host is exceptional. He clearly loves what he does as host, caretaker, and all around “friend,@ to the guests. He was more than supportive and patient with our needs and requests and on several occasions went above and beyond to help us secure reservations at local wineries. If you are lucky enough to rent while others are there in the other flats - enjoy! We are grateful to the families we got to know while we were there. Beyond that, we got to know the region, as well and it felt like home. We are from Southern California’s wine country and there are many aspects that felt we were there yet we were taking in Tuscany. We will miss this lovely location. Thank you Gary. Thank you to the community and to the other guests to giving us a home away from home. May we be so lucky to return one day.

Villa Eleanora

We loved our stay at the villa. Tucked into the hills just west of Florence, the villa is in the perfect location for visiting all areas of Tuscany. We stayed at Villa Eleanora 15 years ago and had always intended to come back. We will definitely book for the future. Gary our host helped with all our inquiries and needs.
