Excellent amenities and great cooked to order breakfast. Cute well decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Diego helped booked our tour to the cloud forest with a very knowledgeable guide. Short walk to the town center.

Great location. Thermal pools were amazing and hotel rooms xtra large. Will be back. Only downside is that the room does not have a direct view of the arenal volcano… you need to step outside of the room to view…

Cloud forest is impressive especially in Santa Elena National Park. Walking around misty forest for hours is so calming. Monteverde cloud forest offers amazing views of the whole area. Santa Elena town is fine, just few restaurants and nothing else.

Monteverde is busy. Titally geared up for tourists. Don’t expect there to be clouds in the national Parks; we went there to walk in the cloud forest but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! The last hour of the journey there is on extremely bumpy gravel.
