Great location clean comfortable apartment. Close to metro and lots of shopping to and dining options that are walkable. Apartment could use a bit of TLC but it was clean and comfortable.

Disappointed

The apartment provided the basics of what we needed. And the towels and sheets were clean. But there were several issues with the space that left us feeling uncomfortable, including a hole in the wall (covered by a hanging plant), a couple of missing outlet covers, and a missing cabinet door in the kitchen. There was some mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain. And we would recommend a liner.

Pros: Really good location, near metro stops and walkable to Old Town and the Plateau. The water pressure in the shower was good and there was always hot water. There's a coffee maker and coffee (but no filters, more on that later).Cons: There was an overwhelming perfume scent as soon as you walk in, we had to open the windows and patio door to air it out so if you're sensitive to scents, this isn't the place for you. The cleanliness was lacking for sure, there were random hairs on the bathroom floor, stains in the tub, the stovetop was filthy, the kitchen counters had crumbs on them. I contacted the host about getting coffee filters as there was a percolator with coffee but no filters, he said he would look into getting them dropped off outside the door but there still wasn't anything the next day. I asked him again and he said he would follow up on it. Hours later, at 1030pm when my husband and I were asleep, someone knocked on the apartment door, it was the host, with a bag of coffee, not filters. I was too tired to tell him that's not what we needed so I just nodded and took the bag and closed the door. On the plus side, I now know that you can make an adequate coffee filter out of sturdy paper towel! I know it's an expensive city especially in that central of a location but the cost didn't equal the value in my mind, especially regarding the cleaning fee, sadly.
