Nice place, especially for the price. The owner is a bit rude. Nice town location, easy to get around the island, everywhere for around 40-60 min. Free parking places nearby, around 5 min by walking, down to the market there are always free parking slots.

Nice new hostel in a non-touristy part of Majorca

I was thrilled to find Embat Hotel to be so clean and the staff so friendly. Montuiri remains unadulterated by tourists and, as such, provides a real view of what traditional life and culture on the island is. People in the town are very friendly, and the views of the island from the top of the nearby mountain are stunning. The hostel owner was kind enough to offer to drive me to the top of the mountain so I could hike my way back. The owners were more than happy to give suggestions for things to do and see in the town and restaurants to eat in. I will definitely be returning to this hostel. It was great :)
