「Otoya1907 is the perfect place to stay to see historic San Jose. It is conveniently located, charming, and comfortable. The staff was friendly helpful, and welcoming. He patiently taught me the door codes and keys. The kitchen area is a bonus. The Cafe Otoya is very nice.」

「Excellent staff, comfy bed, good pool table for costa rica. Buffet breakfast is excellent fresh and basic american/ tico mix. I always like to start trip there before exploring the country.」

「Perfect location if you want to see actual wildlife with out having to search for it extensively. Location provides a peaceful spot as it’s not on the main road. Many other tourists we met said they could sleep well because traffic a people were so loud along the strip/main road. We saw monkeys on a mango tree right outside our room and many exotic birds too. There’s also a beautiful peacock that greets you every time you come back to the property. Very safe spot too. This is the place to stay...

「Yes it was, the staff were exceptional, young man when we were leaving for the airport and needed to find our laundry which should have been delivered by an outside laundry, totally saved us. He called the laundry which was about to close for the day. Offered to go with us in the taxi that he had ordered to assist with dealing with the laundry. We didn’t require that but he already called them to establish our laundry was there. PS if staying at the hotel DO NOT USE Arthur’s laundry service....
