「Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.」

「Lovely clean rooms, great shower! Very doggie friendly. Roaring fires and beautiful food. 10oz steak and peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection. The Coffee and tiramisu sundae exceptional. We will be back!」

「Staff courteous and friendly. Food and breakfast excellent. Room clean but half empty bottle of water left in room and carpet had two iron burn marks on floor. Also heating was off in room so very cold until we turned it on. Great view of front and comfy bed.」
