Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the property were clean. Staff only entered rooms on request so i was happy to leave more valuable items in my room. Breakfast was good and basic. The parking on site is very limited but the whole of the prom has free parking.

We had no room service eg change of towels. Also never came in to change the bin. We had to keep asking for things. Carpet syained, walls all marked. Windows bad, couldnt close one. An absolute nightmare.

I struggled whether to write this review.I’ll start by saying the staff were absolutely lovely,very professional and dealt with our complaint with real empathy.Unfortunately,the pictures on the site do not reflect the reality of this hotel,as another guest in reception at the same time also raised. Firstly,we filtered our results by parking,as this was really important.I didn’t realise until I phoned the hotel that parking is on-street only along a busy sea-front,with some spaces at the back.They heavily stressed that there’s no CCTV here.We did find a space.When we went in,it smelt strongly of smoke.Admittedly this may be because someone was smoking near the entrance.The room itself was stifling hot,which concerned us,though the staff member kindly offered to try to find a fan.The room overlooked a flat roof with rubbish on and the paint was cracked and peeling away from the wall in some places.There was an accumulation of dust in the bathroom fan (I was disappointed to have a very small shower cubicle and no bath - challenging when travelling with small children).There were running dirty water marks and cracks on the bathroom walls and main door,and what could have possibly been mould in places.The advertised restaurant only opened for breakfast,leaving us with no food options other than delivery - unless we wanted to risk our parking space and drive into town.For over £160 per night,this was unacceptable.We left and booked a different hotel.The lady kindly refunded us.
