Cute property with beautiful marsh views. A few areas of deferred maintenance such as painting and patching but overall a lovely place.

The room is nicely decorated beach themed. My kids had so much fun in the warm pool. I love the view from the pool. The staff are nice and approachable. I would highly recommend to my family and friends.

This is not the Waldorf Astoria. But it's a good place that was clean and we'll staffed. The pool, while not huge was clean and enjoyable. The view from the back is fantastic with a great look down the cut to the sound. It's a reasonable walk to the beach and not too far to the main Atlantic Beach Oceanfront (aka "The Triangle"). For the price, we were very pleased with the amenities. The only warning is that parking can be a bit snug, especially if you're driving a full size truck. And only one vehicle is allowed to park in the lot per unit.

Love that the room had extra living space. It had a living room/sitting area. Also had a table to eat on as well as a desk. Loved the step down into the sleeping area. The room had two tv’s and the couch was also a pull out bed. City view was amazing! Very clean hotel inside and out. Very affordable! Close to a lot of shops and restaurants! The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all! 10/10! Will definitely be back!

The manager was rude when my wife went down to ask for a bath towel. My wife had gone to the front desk the day before to ask for extra towels, which they never delivered. The next day she asked the house keeper for an extra towel and she said no they can’t because they’re only allowed two towels per room and we would have to go to the front desk so went to the front desk and the manager was very rude. The housekeeper was horrible because she went into the room that she was cleaning with another housekeeper and started talking crap about my wife as soon as she went in there and very loudly so that my wife could hear her. We will 100% not ever go back to this property and tell everybody to stay away from it unless they fix the management problem.

Amazing stay, wonderful staff, everything perfect. Loved the pool open 9 to 9. Quiet, easy walk or drive to anything. Clean, safe, friendly. One of the two condos was updated with a full size refrigerator and freezer. The other one was not so updated, not as dark (poor blackout curtain set up) and only a mini fridge. Both had microwaves and coffee makers. Fresh coffee and extras up at reception desk. We will be back!

The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. We got in later than expected 1 am and Marshal was super helpful, got us our room right away. And then texted us several times through out the week to ensure we had everything we needed. Lynn always greeted us with a smile whenever she was there. The room was super clean, the views amazing, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The Pool was clean and delightful during the hot days of our stay. We will definitely be coming back !

Overall stay was great. If you want to get to the beach you will need to cross a busy street, thankfully there is a light and crosswalk right in front of the hotel. And then about 3 more blocks then you have a great entrance to the beach. I wouldn't recommend driving as that specific entrance has no where to park your car. The room was good. The only thing i would say is that the laundry machine and dryer are $2.50 each in quarters so come prepared

This place was exactly what we needed. Somewhere to lay our heads at night because we were spending our days out and about. Nothing fancy, but we weren’t looking for fancy. Palm Suites is unique in that each room is individually owned. Those that run the from desk have nothing to do with the condition of the rooms. Only complaint is the box springs on both beds in our room were awful. Every time you moved they were extremely loud Sharon ran the day shift,Marshall the night shift. Both were very helpful. If you are looking for a no frills place to stay at the beach and are on a budget, I’d take the chance that you get a good room. We’ll stay here again

Mixed review, because the staff we encountered was friendly and the initial appearance of the hotel was nice- cute little lobby, nicely decorated. I assumed our room would appear similar based on the pictures we saw online when booking. Our room was sadly not really up to par. While it wasn’t dirty, it was just very dingy and uncomfortable. Tile floors, terribly hard mattresses with only two uncomfortable pillows each, poor lighting, and not enough outlets. The hotel’s towel policy needs to be amended. We had 3 people in the room, we should have had 3 towels. We ended up using beach towels! The walls of our room were very thin, and the decor was just… icky. Not cute, very dated. The bathroom was very basic, painted dark blue which wasn’t the best choice as it made it dim, and the mirror was too low. No coffee filters in the room or at the front desk, so the basic amenities in the room couldn’t even be used. We did use the pool and thought it was fine. We only stayed one night and I’m glad we didn’t have a longer stay planned because for almost $200 a night it absolutely wasn’t worth it. I understand that each unit is privately owned but this hotel needs serious updating and all units should be held to the same standard as the lobby. We chose it due to its close proximity to the activities we had planned but if we were to revisit the area in the future we would most likely stay in Beaufort or Morehead City where there are better accommodations.
