"Although the staff was amazing, the manager is not. I asked for a partial refund. The manager somehow charged me for an extra day and when I asked for it to be taken off and for a partial refund, it took over 2 weeks to have the extra charge taken off. No partial refund. I was never contacted by the manager, even though I called almost every day and send emails. I only spoke with the staff at the front desk. One of them was able to get the extra charge taken off, NOT the manager. The room was filthy. Our bed was dirty, stains on one of the sheets, some wierd particles on top of the sheets, dead bugs around and the air filters was so bad that when you open it, stuff would fall out of it. Everything was booked in the area. This was las resort and I will not make that mistake again. Staff was very friendly. Manager is MIA and useless Room is discusting If I would have been contacted by someone, I would not have made this review."

"Very nice and informative staff. Wonderful tours - took history and spooky tour. We stayed in Williams Winter Room inside main plantation house - very clean. Absolutely love all the animals around property. Coffee shop and staff there was wonderful. Charles was an awesome tour guide!!! Will definitely be back again!!!"

"Unfortunately, our stay was less satisfactory than we had anticipated. On Friday night, loud music from the Daiquiri establishment continued until 1-2 a.m., making it difficult to sleep. On Saturday night, even louder music from the next door neighbor caused vibrations through the walls and floors, further impacting our comfort."

"Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the cabin was. I was looking for something different than the hotel/motel stay. It was very comfortable and so cutely decorated. Host responded quickly when the hot water didn’t work. It was a very simple fix. The tankless hot water heater had accidentally got turned off by putting towels in the cabinet. Shower was amazing after that. Property was quiet and peaceful. No tv which was so nice and made us go to sleep at a decent hour instead of watching tv all night. I will definitely stay again if in the area."
