“You must enjoy the outdoors and all it comes with (birds, iguanas, insects, etc) when staying here. The property is beautiful. This was my first time experiencing no Ac or 4th wall. The breeze and fans kept the room cool. I advise to turn off all lights at night and bring plenty of bug spray to keep the insects away. “Anse Chastanet is by far the best value for luxury, amenities, and experiences in St. Lucia. Our room was visited 2-3 times daily by cleaners and staff (to make little transitions like turning on some lights while we were at dinner, tidying up while we were away at the beach/meals and replacing amenities like the complimentary water and local coffee). While Anse Chastanet is an affiliate property with the more luxurious Jade Mountain, all of the activities, beach access, and numerous restaurants……

“The hotel was overpriced and the room was not in good condition. The shower took a long time to figure out and it was difficult to navigate the hotel up and down the stairs, with poor signage. I do not recommend this hotel.”

“My stay at La Haut was great! The room was very spacious with amazing views of the bay and the pitons. The resort was conveniently located close to attractions like the waterfall and Sulphur Springs. I got the chance to meet the owner Joe, and he was very welcoming at his house in the resort where the infinity pool with the views of the pitons was. “The property is across the road from the water Falls. The pool is nice and picturesque. I recommend bringing food or going shopping as nothing is near by.”

“We loved the ocean view. So prestien. The beds were very comfortable. I didn't feel the room was very clean. The refrigerator only had 3 legs so it would tilt and the door wouldn't stay closed. The 6-1/2 flights of stairs with large bags in the heat with no help and no elevator was grueling.”

“We had one day to stay at this location so given the pics, we felt this was a good fit. It is a 1/2 hour from the airport but that's about the best thing. When we got there, the place was empty and that was fine. We were past prime season, but the 6 cats and the smell of cat urine was too much. The views were great from the bar and patio, the rooms very average with one that reeked of cat pee. We took our losses and left. We did not stay overnight as it was just too smelly. The one beer……
