Lovely property, beautifully maintained and decorated. Very comfortable room, shower, towels new and fluffy, bed comfortable with excellent linens. Delicious breakfast and attentive service. Really nice stay, would highly recommend. Very convenient for visiting Alnwick and Bamburg castles.

The Cook and Barker is an amazing place, in the middle of nowhere, but close enough to Alnwick and driving distance to Holy Island etc..... staff are really friendly, breakfast is outstanding - thank you. We stayed in the suite and were blown away. Evening meals are exceptional, everything was cleaned to a high standard.
