Clean—Welcoming—Great Location—Enormous Breakfast

Newly-refurbished, pristine, clean room. Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff gave information on local area and events. Enormous breakfast of champions—full English and vegetarian options. 5 minutes from sea front/marina/Sunday market Fantastic location for walking, cycling, driving around the area. Had a wonderful 2 night/3 day stay. Highly recommended.

Great stay. Single beds a bit too small. Massive quilts on them but it was so hot we didn’t need them. Room was very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Nice beer garden to the rear. Overall really good

Brilliant place to stay

Lovely place. Room was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was modern & gleaming. Slight mix up over bed type was quickly sorted while we had a complimentary drink in the beer garden. The room had a nice view over grass onto the sea / estuary. The beds were so comfortable, I didn’t want to get up & pack to come home. The only thing we found missing in the room was a bin, but we just brought the one out of the bathroom. Included breakfast was served in their cafe and it was gorgeous. A real gem of a B&B and well worth the price we paid.

Exactly as I hope for!

The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again that day until 6pm! I stayed in a single room. My bed was so comfy, whole room and bathroom were immaculate and I had a full range of hot drinks to make and a biscuit selection which was welcome after a busy day. Lady who checked me in was lovely. I had to walk into the pub to check in as I checked in quite late in the night but I was expecting that as I knew what I had booked. I didn’t get to explore Amble but from what I even saw in the dark, the hotel is in a fab location. I even had a little view of what I assume was Amble Dock. Can’t fault the hotel or staff or food at all! 10/10 will definitely stay again
