The Dock Hotel is a pub, a working man's pub, which has been converted into a very nice and very comfortable hotel. The staff were very helpful and really friendly. My room was excellent. Spotlessly clean and comfortable too. Highly recommended, with a real piece of North East charm.

Staff totally dedicated to ensuring the best guest experience. Annemarie was a credit to the place. It was lovely to chat with the owner over breakfast. Both the hospitality tray and breakfast put many other establishments' offerings to shame. The view from room 8 was lovely. We will definitely return. Thank you
